Yeah, I was raised "conveniently" Catholic, which is my way of saying that we went to church a few times a year when I was young, mostly on religious holidays, but our attendance slowed to a trickle in later years settling for a prayer at the dinner table as a sufficient substitute. In the same breath, my older brother jumped headfirst back into the church a few years ago and because of that we celebrated his wedding at San Rafael Parish. I will say that it's an incredibly bizarre feeling to attend a six person wedding in a massive space like this, but 2021 is still making up for 2020's shortcomings and gatherings still seem like a bad idea. So, our tiny family of six was joined by the Monsignor, a piano player, a singer, a photographer, and an employee that webcasted the ceremony to Australia, my sister-in-law's homeland. Everything was perfect. Everything was sincere. Everything was beautiful. Thanks San Rafael Parish for opening your doors to my brother and his bride on their special day and giving them the religious wedding that they were really looking forward to.

Liz Viker and the choir, organis and pianist were top notch, and it was FREE!!! They had us singing Christmas Hymns and the orchestra and choir presented a variety of Christmas music including GLORIA. Liz is multi talented and directs to perfection. The Sanctuary that will hol almost a 1,000 was 95% full. It was comfortable, for us to sit back and enjoy the music plus the Transitional Pastor Goeff Kohler, who used his humor and cirisima to wow the audience. The church hold Sunday Worship Services at 9:30 on Sunday mornings. Eve there are 3 services, Family Noon, Contemorary 4 pm, and Traditional with choir and orchestra at 8 pm. The Rabbi and Cantor love kids and welcome families and don't mind if the children want to run around and be themselves. Don't be lured by the bright lights and awesome music. Because underneath it is the most prideful, country club church I've ever and painfully experienced. The pastors care about their European vacations and vuori clothes and the amount of money you give. When you stop giving, you will get a phone call. When you reach out with concerns, they may or may not get back to you and say something like "we are proud of what we are doing at CRB. " It's more about what you wear and what you look like and the cliques you will never be a part of. I don't write this to hurt the church. I write this to urge people to run. Run far, far away from this place and find a bible loving christian church that embraces you with open arms, where you grow closer to God and where souls are saved. Run to place that when you need prayer, they will stop what they are doing and pray. Run from a place where the sermons are about how great they are and not about how great God is. I pray this church humbled themselves and repents.

It caters to all most all the gods we worship in india. I would say this is one of a kind in San Diego. Every Monday they have a puja for lord Shiva and Thursday's day have Sai baba. Every Indian festival is celebrated at this temple and it's good outing with family. In that market they have an Indian grocery store, restaurant and many more things. Must visit if you are a devotee!
