This is a great garden centre/ aggregate wholesaler, based on the outskirts of Saxilby. In addition to the graden centre itself, it boasts a nursery (plant, not child!), landscape centre and lovely little cafe (with a five star hygiene award and Pensioners' lunch discount on a Tuesday). Every Tuesday at 12:30, a free coach service runs from from Saxilby Village Hall car park to Living Gardens and returns at 1:30, for those without transport.
The garden centre itself has all kinds of gifts, garden furniture, BBQs, gardening tools, ornaments and seasonal decorations on offer, including the largest Christmas trees I have EVER seen, in the winter months. The staff are helpful and very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The Garden Centre is all on one floor and caters for those with disabilities/ in wheelchairs.
This would be perfect for anyone looking for a lovely day out or needing to source gardening aggregates, paving, tools and gifts. They also offer advice, top tips, as well as the occassional seasonal demonstration. Highly recommended. read more
