When I went into the shop I recognised a few of the manufacturers from my extensive research. Honeywell Ba xi, Glowworm to name a few. I was soon put right by the helpful and straight talking staff. I bought the part and took it home and tried to install it. I'm sad to say I had to sit in the cold for a week until I could afford a repair job. At least I had the part.

It seemed wrong to just throw the old one away and i didn't need two lights anyway so I decided to pop into Warmeads, whom I have always found helpful, and see if they could sort the problem for me. Straight away the young man on the sales counter examined the light, got out a screwdriver, tested first the fuse then the bulb. It was the bulb. He got me a new bulb screwed it all back together and there it was: good as new in five minutes. The cost? Only £2.26p. I do not know the young mans' name but I know that he could not have been more helpful so, Thank you, Warmeads.

We were not greeted by any of the 3 women supposedly serving. 1 stood behind the counter (leaning), 1 in front and 1 sitting. Not a word to us. They were busy talking with each other. We spent 10 minutes looking around, looked at them - did they look back? No. Found a lamp we liked (we would have bought 4 - not a word or look from the staff). Owner you can see them busy at "work" in my picture attached. If you have a job like this for me where I can talk with my friends all day and get paid please let me know!
