I was referred to Doctors Emily and Chris (both are MD's) 8 years ago- and have never looked back!…read more I was diagnosed with a torn meniscus in both knees in 2015, preventing me from walking without significant pain. When Baptist Hospital's top sports medicine surgeon told me there was nothing he could do, I turned to Emily for regular acupuncture treatments. I soon was able to get back to running as much as I wanted and am able to compete in at least 5 half marathons each year...completely pain free. However, what is even more amazing about Emily and Chris's practice is the thoughtful and holistic view they take toward solving medical issues. Their keen intellect, curiously and creative thinking skills allowed them to help me solve mysterious neurological issues (in 2020) and throat issues (2023) that no other doctor (primary care, urgent care, ENT, immunologist, neurosurgeoun, emergency room) could figure out. My only mistake was not going to Emily and Chris first- rather than wasting precious time and money on traditional medicine doctors who weren't able to think "outside of their own box". Utilizing cutting edge testing protocols, almost exclusively natural supplement regimens and a relentless drive to figure out the true root causes of my medical issues (they are truly "medical detectives"), Emily and Chris worked wonders to bring me back to full health. The name of their practice could not be more apt: if you're looking for "comprehensive wellness", I can't imagine any other place to start. I refer friends regularly to MBCWC- and can't recommend Emily, Chris and their wonderfully caring staff enough. Best wishes and good health to all!

Dr. Jude has years of experience, has mastered the art of body talk, and often compliments her sessions with acupuncture and/or cupping. I will be a lifetime client, and have already referred her five more people this week alone. Helping yourself have a better mind, body, and soul, will help you have a better point of view on life, understand how and why you fit into this world, and how you can better humanity overall. Highly recommended.

Through bodytalk Judith was able to figure out some of the deficiencies I was experiencing in my body. She made some useful recommendations, one of which was nascent iodine which has turned out to be a blessing. Every time I have a session with her I feel like I shed layers of stress. She's also an acupuncturist and there are times that I get both treatments in one session which just makes the treatment twice as powerful. It's amazing how the intuition of body talk is able to narrow in on both emotional, mental and physical issues that are causing blocks within our body.

I had a truly life changing experience working with Michele from Essence Nutrition, and I don't use…read morethose words lightly. What's important to note is that I actually had very good nutrition going into my work with Michele. Before I started working with her, I was already maintaining a very healthy diet- cooking all of my own meals, lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, lean proteins, little to no added sugar in my diet, etc... However, Michele took my nutrition from great to exceptional. I sought nutritional advice for two main reasons: weight management and recovery from ulcers in my GI tract that I have been dealing with for about three years now. Due to issues with ulcers, I had previously been instructed by doctors to go on liquid diets for weeks on end, and have had consistent weeks and months where I was barely able to eat anything due to pain. This caused my metabolism to slow a substantial amount, and started causing me a lot of weight gain when I was able to eat normally and healthily again. After just a couple weeks of working with Michele, she had already taught me so many great techniques and information that I started seeing significant positive change in regards to how I was feeling each day. Michele's simple changes to my diet caused something to happen that I never even thought possible- my ulcerative colitis symptoms went from mild to practically non existent. The intense cramping and pain I used to feel at the end of each day disappeared if I followed the diet as instructed. I was never able to reach these kinds of results, even with the strongest of medication over the span of three years. This dramatically positively impacted my quality of living, which has led to better mood, better sleep, better workouts, and better mental health. The Essence Nutrition system is a great example of getting out of something what you put into it. If you take the advice and recommendations seriously and take the time to input the pictures and descriptions into the "Healthie" app, then you will really benefit from some qualified and thoughtful input from your nutrition expert. I could not be happier with my experience of working with Michele and Essence Nutrition and I can't recommend them enough to anyone who is looking to improve their nutrition, health, and overall quality of living! -Tressa
