Dr. Fu is knowledgeable, and compassionate, and maintains dignity for her patients at all times. I have had eczema since I was a small child, and every now and again under certain circumstances; either I have indulged in too many sweets, or the weather is too cold, or my microbiome is out of whack, or I am just stretched to capacity, and my immune system is vulnerable I end up with a severe flare. In just a few treatments the inflammation was down, and the eczema was gone. I love the way I feel like my body is getting just a little stronger with each visit, and that my functionality improves more and more. I love everything about how I feel after being treated by Dr. Fu, and her son Cory - the craft is definitely passed through the lineage. When my husband got pneumonia for the first time in his life, I went to Dr. Fu & Cory because I believed they could definitely contribute to his recovery, and they did not disappoint! If you are new to acupuncture I believe Dr. Fu is hands down the best place to start, and if you are looking for a skilled healer who understands how to address your anatomy and physiology into optimization ~ Dr. Fu is the real deal.

She was treating my wife with…read moreacupuncture and chinese "herbs" (some daily pill in an un-marked bottle) for a condition of weakness. Turns out that a blood test revealed pernicious anemia. She did not book another treatment and all the dr had to say was "but you treatment not finish." Oh yeah, her treatment finish. Iron and vitamin supplements brought her health back. dr Fu is the type who is a hammer that sees every patient as a nail. No recommendations for blood tests, other tests, when nothing was happening with her course of treatment. Just hammer away with treatment and collect the ca$h. She was funding the 4th generation's education at the time. We have since found herbalists and acupuncturists who have less tunnelvision.

She never gave up on me even though it was a rough road and she always changed treatment protocol til we found the right one. I also love the nursing staff, especially Fran, and both nurse practitioners. Complaints are that the finance department is next to impossible to get in touch with, and when you are first starting they have a tendency to cancel appointments. We were delayed getting started because they canceled my husband's sperm analysis twice. They also just raised their prices which I think is pretty disturbing since it was already expensive enough. Thanks to Dr Safier talking to finance I was able to get 30% off one of my cycles but they were rude about it and just said "we won't be doing this again." 5 stars for the medical team but one star off for finance

Unfortunately through my fertility journey I have been to multiple practices. Island fertility is…read moremy last (and was hoping final) clinic on my long journey. First let me start with Dr. Trivax who is absolutely AMAZING! Unlike my previous doctor, as soon as outcomes were not as expected he left no stone unturned and did additional testing to identify an underlying issue that was the KEY to exactally why I have struggled so long with secondary infertility. I can't say enough great things about him. However the FINANCE DEPARTMENT is BEYOND HORRIBLE!! It's such a SHAME such great doctor staff are supported by such a poor performing finance department. I don't know how anyone there still has a job. My initial retrevial I almost missed starting my meds because it took almost week to get in contact with someone and get the issues resolved. It's close to impossible to get someone on the phone unless you raise all h*ll and call the office non stop leaving messages with every other department. Kudos to the nursing staff whose other main job is trying to get finance to call back patients. Additionally, after I did all my due diligence they are trying to tell me I have significant fees due AFTER I had the procedure done. Which they are now willing to "see what they can do and discuss with doctor" because ya, they dropped the ball informing me of these fees prior to procedure (mind you they even have a call with you prior to go over all fees you will be responsible for). And again, after I did my due diligence to ensure what my expected out of pocket would be for back to back retrievals they call me MID CYCLE to inform me oops that I owe fees and want to make me aware before I start my cycle.. but they are notifying me day 4 which is no where near before the start of a cycle. If you are between facilities, I strongly urge you to do your homework and due diligence as you will have nothing but headaches with the finance department which unfortunately is part of your journey. Thanks for taking the time to read and best of luck on your journey!

Stay away. While mills like Metro PT and Professional PT are popping up everywhere, here's a…read moreprivately owned practice you should avoid at all costs. The owner must be very difficult to work for as there are always new people working there and if you ask, " where's so and so ", it's always ' Oh, they're not here anymore '. It's a mill where the care is generally subpar, and you never get consistent care, always being treated by someone new. The care is generic at best. There is definitely something wrong with the owner, who appears to have delusions of grandeur. He constantly talks about himself as if he's God's gift to PT, but he really has very little hands-on talents, it's a modality-based practice with little or no hands-on treatment. I can do heat and stim, and ice myself at home. Once again, I strongly advise staying away from this weirdo and his subpar practice.
