From water tank leaks/replacement, furnace / AC issues, water softener installs he is my go to. He is thorough with his troubleshooting understanding root cause before replacing parts. He always explains everything that he is doing and where the issue is. As a female, i appreciate that he doesn't talk down to me which many repair companies do on repair calls. Rob is also very cost conscious for the consumer. He tries to do the fix as affordable as possible without compromising quality. I've never had a call back for the same work. He is honest and trustworthy. Right now, I have a furnace that is on its last leg. He has repaired it in hopes that it makes it to a point where costs come down for me. Not many companies would continue to do that, but Rob does. Highly recommend him for all of your HVAC needs!

Sadly, I returned a few weeks ago and had a very bad experience with Dave, his son, who could barely bother and was downright rude. I had a simple lamp switch repair, and he put in a different switch from the original one (without telling me until I got there to pick it up) so I ended up having to wait another few weeks for him to track down the right one. He actually didn't get back to me at all, and, after two weeks, I had to call again. He said he had gotten the right switch but when I went to pick up the lamp again, it turned out he he had gotten one that was not exactly right again. Very disappointing. But the main problem was not even that he was not interested in doing the job right but that he was so rude throughout: his assistant went in to his office to ask him if he wanted to come out and explain the switch issue to me and my husband, and he said very loudly so we could hear, "NOT REALLY." We then waited and he never came out. Then his assistant had to go back in to his office again to ask him to come out to talk to us. When he did, he was very unfriendly and clearly showed he could care less. Appalling lack of customer service. His dad was terrific and I'm sorry he's not there anymore. I won't be returning.

I found him on Yelp, he came right out and gave an estimate that gave me the flexibility to choose the charger I wanted. Really nice guy. He spent more time with me explaining his process than the other estimators I met. Once I ordered the charger we set a preliminary date for the day after it arrived. MK showed up when promised and was here under 3 hours. The install looks great! Very minimal intrusion or visibility as he has to run the wire from my basement to the garage. The area was cleaned up like new and the drywall looked great, which is something the other estimates I got did not include. I highly recommend MK and I-REM Electric and Construction and would use them again for any needs that arise.
