We receive so many updates, and the live camera gives me such peace of mind. On harder drop-off days, being able to check the app and see that she is happy and having fun makes all the difference as a parent. The school feels like a family the moment you walk in. It is warm, homey, and cozy, and every teacher is so kind and welcoming. The directors, Anne and Ginny, are truly special. They are incredibly thoughtful, caring, and make everyone feel so welcome. Another huge plus is that all food is cooked on-site! It is so helpful as a parent to know they are making healthy and delicious snacks and lunches, and it has given my daughter the opportunity to try new foods since everyone is eating the same thing. The cook is so kind, the menu changes weekly, and everything smells amazing. Lastly, we also love that my son in TK can do drop-in days with his sister during school breaks, which he has also loved his experience there too. We feel so grateful to be part of this community and highly recommend Children's Courtyard!

Miss Ginny always brightens the day with her smile, full of energy and joy, and she makes Nicole's day just the same with her energetic spirit. Nicole has two wonderful teachers, Miss Leehe and Miss Sevanah, who made my daughter enjoy going to daycare and love it--even asking for them on holidays. They help Nicole so much in terms of growth and education, and I'm sure they do the same for all the children. I am so happy that my daughter goes to this school with all these excellent teachers.

Our attempts at speaking to the administration and to the teachers were met with distain and indifference. I actually ordered a book from Amazon called "Teeth Are Not For Biting" and sent them to the classroom. I was never thanked for any of these contributions and for my kind demeanor toward the administration, despite their brusque manner. I asked for reports about my child's progress I was given none. All one teacher would constantly tell me it was that my toddler needed speech therapy! At 25 months old she became very loquacious and at 28 months I knew it was time to switch schools. I decided to visit Mrs. Clark at Monte Vista. Mrs. Clark actually apologize for the treatment that my daughter received the other school and within the first couple of months of enrollment, I have seen a drastic improvement in my child's personality. She is more outgoing, more attentive, happier, and more secure. Her teacher Ms. Foojan provides constantly updates without prompting and she understands my child. The classrooms are personalized, small, and the student-teacher ratio is low. Other staff and teachers from different classes approach me and my husband on a weekly basis and give us positive reports about our daughter. The school has so many wonderful programs and additions to classroom activities such as gymnastics cooking and other extracurricular activities. Specialized care and attention is bar none and every time I pick up my daughter I do not have to go through a barrage of security questions and I have direct access to my child. I cannot stress enough how wonderful the school is and how much it has enriched my child's education and the development of her character.

My daughter started in the Butterflies class at age 2, and moved through the classes until the Owls, the oldest class. Her teacher in the Butterflies was the perfect transition from being at home with me, to going into a classroom for the first time. Her warmth, understanding, and patience were (and still are) unmatched. The Director of the school is very communicative, she thrives on parent feedback, and I truly believe does everything in her power to ensure a safe and welcoming environment In the preschool. Like all daycare, childcare, and preschool facilities, of course there will be some issues that may come up. I've heard of only 1 such occurrence in the last 4 years, and it was dealt with and is now a non-issue. The only reason I'm mentioning such a thing is because of a recent review that I couldn't disagree with more. All the staff there is happy to be working with children, so smiley and kind and patient with them. I've been to (and worked at) preschools where the teachers are miserable, don't like children, and only working for the paycheck. This is not that kind of place at all. The school uses Brightwheel, an app that I found valuable in those years she was at preschool. You can see what they're crafting, eating, playing that day. You get an instant report and photo if your little one scrapes her knee. Even a quick mention of how they've cheered up afterward. Truly a great tool, and well implemented by all staff members. I've seen negative reviews about the school and I can't wrap my head around what would cause someone to write such powerful and negative words about a lovely, kind, inclusive place of learning. If I were ever in the position to need to choose a preschool again, there would be no question. Christ the King would be the choice.

I chose to place my youngest in the care of Christ the King Preschool and I'm happy to say that it was a great decision! It is an amazing environment and the teaching staff will have your child's best interests and positive development in mind. It is family centric and they teach positive values that might get less focus from more mainstream child care services. My daughter recently graduated from CTK and I am proud to say that it is a place that she will be proud to have been a part of. Please keep up the great work!

I volunteered twice in one week and worked full-time to support his classroom success, even ensuring he had a dedicated 1:1 aide. Despite all of this, the school repeatedly disrupted his support system, constantly changing his 1:1 aide, pushing for excessive transitions, and trying to move him to a separate special education room--which was completely unnecessary and harmful to his progress. When I advocated for him and began picking him up twice a week to protect his mental health, the school retaliated by calling CPS--accusing me of causing anxiety, when in reality, they were the source of it. was anxious, frustrated, and overstimulated by the environment, not his home. Anyone who knows him can see how advanced, thoughtful, and emotionally aware he is when treated with respect and proper support. No family should be punished for protecting their child. What happened to us is a warning: if your child is adhd but gifted, and you expect meaningful inclusion and respect, be cautious. This school failed to provide a safe, consistent, and supportive environment--and then tried to shift the blame onto me as a parent. We have since withdrawn and are now seeking a school that sees our son's potential, not just his diagnosis.
