You simply will not find a practice that is better than this one. Dr. Ferguson uses advanced technology to great advantage: he gets brilliant results, whether you're getting a tooth capped, a cavity filled, a cleaning, cosmetic work, etc. When I was a new patient six years ago, I was shocked that I could get a tooth capped in one visit, a cap that fit perfectly first time around and never gave me a moment's discomfort. Speaking of discomfort, if you get nervous, as so many people do, when going to a dental appointment because you're anticipating discomfort and/or pain, you can forget all about that. Dr. Ferguson and his team are masters at keeping their patients pain-free (even the shots are no big deal). I recently had cosmetic work done, which involved six teeth being capped. For years, I had been smiling with my mouth closed or putting my hand to my mouth. I hardly have words for the incredible work Dr. Ferguson did. It has absolutely changed my life. It's really a joy to smile now. My teeth look totally natural and some "gumminess" that bothered me is significantly reduced (I'm not sure how Dr. Ferguson achieved this). The work was finished in two visits. When I went home, after the second visit, my husband said, "Wow, your smile looks beautiful!" In addition to the exemplary dental work at Ferguson Dental Associates, I promise you that you won't find better staff anywhere. The dental assistants are superb; they do not make mistakes. And you won't find more highly-skilled hygienists who honestly will not let you out of the chair, until they're satisfied they've done a perfect job. The staff at the desk are super-competent and super-nice, a pleasure to interact with. In fact, everyone in the practice couldn't be nicer. I was made to feel welcome and comfortable from my first visit. I should add, my husband is also a patient and he feels exactly the same way as I do. Confession: We actually look forward to our appointments!

Unfortunately, my primary dentist was out of town and although he prescribed antibiotics, the infection was making me feel sick and the pain was ridiculous. One call from my wife and Dr. Ferguson got me in at 7 PM on the Thursday before a holiday weekend. 15 minutes after I got there he had performed a procedure on the tooth and removed the infection (and the pain). He then gave me a way to contact him over the weekend in case the condition recurred. This was all after never having met me before. Dr Ferguson is not just a great dentist, he's a great person. I can't imagine what I'd have done without him.

Communication was poor, and my concerns were brushed off without care. To make matters worse, the billing practices were extremely questionable. I was charged fees that were never disclosed upfront, the office failed to do a pre-determination even though one was requested and the amount charged and collected was NOT what was listed on EOB from dental carrier so a refund had to be requested. It felt deceptive and untrustworthy, especially for a pediatric office where transparency should be a priority. Overall, I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for respectful, honest, and professional care for their children. There are far better options available where families are treated with courtesy and integrity.

The woman who initially answered the phone rudely told me she couldn't see my child at that office and they couldn't open a new chart for her and tried to dismiss me; this was specifically after being told by the North Brunswick office that the treatment my daughter needed could only be done in the Greenbrook location. After calls going back and forth between North Brunswick and Greenbrook, Greenbrook finally called and said they would see my daughter, but I had to register her as a new patient, for whatever reason they would not transfer her file. It finally comes time to make her appointment and there are insurance issues. The office was completely unhelpful in trying to resolve them. The issue is finally resolved, and I made an appointment for my daughter two weeks or more ahead of schedule. I called to confirm the appointment, confirm the insurance, and let them know a different family member would be taking her. My family member showed up with my daughter only to be told they wouldn't see her- again because of insurance. When I called to find out what was going on, I asked to speak to the office manager or the person who handled the insurance, which I know to be a woman. Instead, after some whispering the young man who answered the phone came back on claiming to be said person. I was then told that someone tried to contact me and cancel the appointment but my mailbox was full. There were NO MISSED CALLS of any kind, my voicemail box WAS NOT FULL, and even if that were the case there is a secondary number and email to reach me. Smile Express knew full well their contract with HBCBS would be ending September 1, and my appointment was scheduled for September 2. Their attempt to contact me was on August 29th. This office is full of nothing but disrespectful liars and I pray that no one continues to use them.
