Looking for some Southeast Asian flavour one busy workday, I was drawn upon by one of the newest additions in Katipunan Avenue Extension, Little Red Dot.
At first, I thought Little Red Dot was a Chinese restaurant because it looked like one! Added to that, the entire stretch of Katipunan Avenue, I think only Hap Chan serves Chinese (hence, close to Southeast Asian) cuisine. When I finally checked what's in store, I was shocked to see that it was a Singaporean restaurant. I immediately ordered Singaporean laksa and my friend had hainanese chicken. The laksa is good, reminded me of the many different laksa in Singapore but this laksa from Little Red Dot has some Filipino taste in it. Maybe it is with the ingredients here in the country. Hainanese chicken was fine as well. Nothing remarkable but for the price of it, not bad. read more
