It got to the point where I found myself reading the signs as much as looking at the antiques. Bet runs the place and she can come off as gruff, which between her rapscallion attitude and all the signs makes me wonder if she perhaps got into the wrong line of work. Maybe her true calling was that of being a librarian or working at the DMV and she missed the boat? Not really sure why she would run an antique store as she doesn't really seem to enjoy it. Having said all that, she did offer to hold a piece for a few days while I decided if I wanted to purchase it which I thought was really nice, and whenever I do go in there they ALWAYS have really unique items in their shop, rather than just the usual schlocky stuffed bears, reindeer candles and crap you really don't need as found at the other shops in Pinetop-Lakeside. So it's worth a visit but perhaps call first as they are open seasonally, closed in the winter, and 8 times out of 10 when I swing by they are closed. Their hours of operation as listed on their doors are more of a suggestion than a rule.

I was told 'no' and that the dealer would have marked items 'as is' if there were chips. Against my better judgment, I bought them without undoing the tape & checking myself. Sure enough, when I got home, there were chips on the inside rim of the sugar bowl lid. Buyer beware!
