I had my sons birthday here recently. It was ok…read more I will give an honest review. Would I do it again? No I booked a party of 15-20 kids, it was a 2 hour party. Did the kids have fun, yes. Goal complete. Did I have fun and enjoy my sons birthday? No The girls there had 0 control over the party. I constantly had to use my adult voice making me an unfun parent and host because the girl running our party had no voice, she didn't command these kids to do anything and they ran all over the girls working that day. Also, when I booked I was told that I'd only have to pay half upfront and half the day of in case we didn't have as many kids as we originally planned. The invoice they sent was for the full party amount. I emailed them asking questions with no response. They knew about my email because when I brought it up they said oh yeah I saw that! Well we will just refund you if needed.... Ok fine but don't tell me you're going to take half now and half later then. The slime is already made by the girls, your kids get to choose the type of slime they want to play with, a scent and a mix in. They do not make the slime themselves. You DO NOT need a 2 hour party. I was told they had games and stuff to do with the kids but the ladies I worked with for my sons party besides the host never left the counter and it felt like they had no structure to a party at all. My son had fun and had a good day that's all that matters, but bring your own back up because you'll be doing most of the work and you won't enjoy your time and kiss your kid doing their own slime because your busy controlling the party. One they make the slime there literally wasn't anything else for them to do.

Disappointed With My Experience…read more I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Coco Sweet Designs Event Planning. Our event was scheduled for February 2027, and we made the decision, due to personal circumstances, that we would no longer be having a reception. The event was paid in full more than seven months in advance, and I requested a refund more than seven months before the scheduled event date. Unfortunately, my refund request was denied. I was told by the owner that, "in this business, refunds are not granted." I am very frustrated that there was no willingness to consider a refund given how far in advance the cancellation was made and the fact that the event was paid for in full so early. I understand that deposits and certain payments may be non-refundable, but being expected to simply forgo thousands of dollars for an event that is being cancelled more than seven months in advance is extremely difficult and disappointing. At this point, I cannot recommend my experience based on how this situation has been handled. I believe businesses should consider the circumstances of their clients, especially when a cancellation is communicated so far in advance and there is ample time for the date and services to potentially be rebooked. I hope others considering booking will carefully review and fully understand the cancellation and refund policies before making a significant financial commitment. I also have photos that the refund policy was not posted when I initially requested cancellation of our event.
