They are open until about 11pm, and the interior is really nice and cozy. They have a wide selection of indian food, I ordered the Paneer curry item, it's really sweet, not spicy but really delicious. We also ordered the slow cooked lamb specialty and that was definitely the better option. Super flavorful. The options could have had more, for some reason there was only one vegetarian curry, but that might have been my misunderstanding of the menu. The naan was of course really good, fresh, and hot from the "clay"oven. The service is also really nice and pretty quick!

Walking down Odengatan, I was looking for a light meal and wasn't sure if Indian was the right choice. The menu looked interested so I took a chance. So glad I did, it was absolutely fantastic. After several visits to Sweden this year, this was the first really exceptional meal that compelled me to take down the name of the restaurant so I could return and write a yelp review.

Uh oh...not impressed. And I really wish I was!…read more I've heard great things about this place. I was in the mood for Indian and I was nearby so I gave it a shot. It was a Sunday around 1pm - time for lunch - but the place was almost entirely empty. So things should have gone quickly - but service was extremely slow. It was a good 5 minutes after we sat down before we even received menus. I checked in on Yelp to get the check-in deal - a free mango lassi drink - but when I showed the waitress the coupon and code she just seemed confused. "What? Huh? Free what? Why? Hm. Um. Ok. Just the free drink?" It felt like she thought I was trying to trick her or something. The food took a loooong time to arrive - it's what I would expect at a sit-down restaurant in the evening for dinner. I can appreciate that it's "fine dining" and the food is made fresh to order, which is great, but given that we were the only customers there (and we all had almost exactly the same dish) it still seemed odd. When the food arrived it was delicious, but not the most amazing I've had in Stockholm. Mukut is better in my opinion. Also, the portions were surprisingly small. The prices at Cumin Club are pretty high so I was expecting a pile of (albeit cheap) rice. But I could have eaten twice the amount of rice I received. Usually at Indian restaurants the servings are quite large, and especially for these prices I was disappointed. And...she forgot the mango lassi! She didn't come back until we were finished with our meal so I had to remind her then. "Oh, right, the mango chutney!" Um, no, I don't want mango chutney after I've finished my meal thanks. I corrected her - mango lassi. She brought me the drink and it was amazing. But it wasn't enough to raise my review above two stars. I adore Indian food, but Cumin Club is not a club where I want a membership.

Wow. Just wow. In…read moreStockholm for a week for work, I had my share of "Swedish" food. I also had an inexplicable craving for Indian one night. Seeing the decent reviews on Yelp, I stopped in. The menu was mostly in Swedish, and I was looking for something like the rich British Indian food I'd fallen in love with years ago, so I asked the waiter, who was in his fifties or older, for a recommendation in this category. He didn't hesitate in the slightest: "get the kashmiri lamb," he said. They had tikka masala, and I even asked if they had something "tikka masala like or better" so I really hadn't expected a lamb dish recommendation - which in my experience are rarely if ever served with rich and creamy sauces. He sensed my apprehension, and said: "if you don't like it, I'll get you something else." Impressed with his confidence, I agreed to the deal. Good call. Holy wow, it was good. Incredibly tender ribs of lamb (read: moister than you thought lamb could be) were swimming in a sauce as rich and creamy as any tikka masala, but oddly seemingly with more flavor. Man, I'm glad I trusted that guy. Also had a garlic naan (30 KR) and a cobra (89 KR) for good measure. If I'm back in Stockholm, I'll be back here too. Kashmiri lamb, 239 KR,
