For appetizers, we got chicken 65 dish. The chicken was very well-made, juicy and perfectly fried and had the right amount of 65 sauce on it. For our main course, we got two garlic naan, butter chicken, and chicken dum biryani. The Naan was soft, tender, buttery and perfectly smoked and tasted fantastic with the smooth creamy spicy velvety Butter Chicken sauce. The chicken biryani was spicy and fragrant with tender pieces of chicken in it. They aced the dum method because every rice grain was separated and the flavor shined through. To end the amazing meal, we got the traditional masala chai which had a perfect balance of chai masala, milk and tea extract. Definitely gave us the perfect warm caffeine kick we needed. The service otherwise was fast and the restaurant was kept very clean. To conclude, it's a fantastic place for casual dining with soulful food.

Sometimes I order "hot" but always end up wishing I'd stuck with medium heat, as it's quite spicy enough. Exceptional flavor. I always get at least 2 meals out of it, too. My husband likes the tangy chicken vindaloo & the tandoori chicken & was recently very pleased with the special thali ($20), which allowed him to sample lots of things, including another favorite of mine, dal makhani.

I ordered medium spice and I've had mayonnaise that was spicier than this. The chicken looks like it was pulled off of a rotisserie chicken from the local supermarket. For instance, on one of our last visits two of us ordered different but slightly similar chicken dishes, chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. Both are chunks of tandoori chicken served in a curry like sauce. Unfortunately, the chicken korma dish was full of chicken bones. The same dish had been ordered multiple times before and it had not included the bones, so this was an unexpected and unpleasant experience for the person who ordered it. Sadly, they've chosen not to return. I know this is a common practice in India, so it may be expected by some, but wanted to warn those who may not be expecting it.

The food was packaged nicely so that no liquids would spill during transit. My dine-in experiences also, were quite enjoyable. Our server was personable and informative about the menu. Thus, he answered any questions with patience and humor. The appetizer sampler consisted of pakoras and samosas. On one visit, my sister ordered a curry dish and I had the chicken biryani. Both had outstanding flavor. Although, I ordered my biryani dish to be "Indian" hot, it was not spicy enough for my desire. I need to become a recognized regular so that they will prepare my dish at an "off the menu" spiciness that most people cannot endure. In addition, I have dined at their "all-you-can-eat" lunch buffet. Typically, I try NOT to gorge myself at buffets, but, alas, I gorged because everything looked so appetizing and tasted so delicious. Overall, I enjoy the service, atmosphere and scrumptious food. I'm glad that I live close by because I will return often.
