Suzanne (the boxes' steward) was stamping the newest book donations as I checked out titles. The box is clearly a labor of love, & well kept. (The park is cleaned regularly by the Friends of Matthias Baldwin Park.) Coming across this book box in this hidden gem of a park is a treat. I will be back with books to donate to the box when I have some to pass on.

Children's books were easily accessible on the bottom shelf. Great addition to the growing ranks of Little Free Libraries. The day I discovered it only 3 stickers & a little wooden sign ornament for hanging was inside the box. This concept has a lot of potential, & it could be rewarding if more people donated. If not art work, maybe it could become an art & craft supplies box.
