Luckily, we found our way to Amanda and Where Imagination Grows Daycare- we could not be happier with how everything has worked out. Amanda and the rest of the staff are kind, approachable and, most importantly, genuinely care about the children. Our son comes home talking about things they've done at 'school'- whether it's learning his ABCs (in English and Spanish) or having someone come in to play the guitar and sing about the importance of brushing your teeth. It's amazing hearing how much he loves going there! We have since had a second child and are now sending her to WIGD as well. I can think of no higher compliment to pay than to say how important it was to us that she also attend WIGD so that she could get the same excellent care that our son has enjoyed. If you are looking for quality daycare under the guidance of an exceptional person, then look no further than Amanda and WIGD!!

I am beyond thankful everyday for the love, the fun, the diverse learning experience and the peace of mind we have knowing our kids are in the best care possible. Lorrelie, Mr. J, Miss Jolina and the entire staff are just absolutely wonderful. They love and care about every child in their school and are constantly providing new fun ways to learn and engage. I am blown away when my toddlers come home and know not just their colors but their colors in English and spanish, or when they learn all about the food pyramid and healthy nutrition, or how to paint laying down like Michelangelo, or all of the fun things they learn through their "science experiments".... I could obviously go on and on. This school focuses on letting kids be kids and loving them for who they are. If you care about your child having a well rounded PreK experience that is family oriented, communicative, caring, trustworthy and truly cares about community this is hands down your best option in Lyndhurst...we tried other schools and looked at other options and I feel so blessed that this is where we ended up. I will never be able to thank Ms. Lore and Mr. J enough for what they have done for my kids. My son was developmentally behind when starting here two years ago and this staff has been so inclusive, understanding and his biggest cheerleaders in all the progress he has made. Because of this environment he will be heading to kindergarten next year light years beyond where we ever could've hoped and with the confidence to continue to thrive and develop in an neurotypical environment! As a first time parent, we found that there aren't a ton of daycare facilities in our area with reviews so it made the search for one a bit lengthy on our end. We are extremely happy with our decision as is she and the quality of care speaks for itself!

They took trips to the park when the weather was nice and celebrated birthdays and holidays all year long. They taught our baby boy so many things! He loved their songs and knows all the movements to the "wheels on the bus." He learned to eat with a fork. They also follow a structured routine that children find comforting because they know what to expect during the day. Each child gets a lot of individualized attention - the teachers get down on the floor and play with the children. This was important to us because children learn through play: making cars move, opening boxes, stacking blocks, etc. The teachers were genuine and they were engaged in developing each child's curiosity and creativity. We recently had to move and were sad to say goodbye to this magical place, but we feel so lucky that our son got off to a great start there.

She definitely knows how to make you feel in peace when leaving your kids there. The staff are also very good with the kids. It was difficult for my kids and I to say goodbye to the team of this daycare. After their PreK graduation, i was just wishing that they had a kindergarten there too. So my kids can continue there. They definitely take time to talk to your kids about their feeling. At the same time teach them a lot of things. My kids are successful at their new school because MandM daycare helped them to be ready for the next step. I mean I can literally write a book about that place. All I have to say is get your kids there and you will be the next one writing a 5 stars review about that place.

The best decision we have made was to enroll our son into Connecticut Farms Church Nursery School…read more He started last year part time for preschool and this year he is in full time pre-k there. The school has been wonderful! It is small so you really get to know everyone there and it is obvious they all care so much about the children. They focus on learning through play and also have additional enrichments like guest readers, a dentist that visits to talk about oral health, fire station trip, etc. My son is learning to write upper and lower case letters and numbers this year and is doing so well! They have a lovely outdoor playground and an indoor gym so the kids can run and play even in inclement weather. They really make learning fun and engaging for the kids and my son is so happy and excited to go to school each day.
