I recently purchased carpet from them after initially doing some research into Lowe's and the policies that they have dealing with carpet installation. Big factor to me was the knowledge that Lowe's outsources their carpet/hardwood/tile etc. Installations to other parties that are not professionally trained in any of the fields listed above. So, when I arrived at Carpetland, I was immediately impressed with the knowledge that Ray provided for me. Everything from the carpet type, to durability, to padding and sub-flooring were discussed upon my visit. Went with the Shaw carpet in the colour Wedding Day and although it took a little longer to be received and installed due to Covid-19, and the fact that the colour was special order, it was well worth the wait! Going from Cobalt blue and Hunter green shag type carpet, to a beautiful light colour completely changed the look and overall esthetic of my new home! I cannot be more pleased! I called the next day and he (guy who fixes carpets) said he doesn't have his schedule he'll call me back. I called him 3 days later after not hearing from him and left a message. The following week I called the office and asked about setting up an appointment to fix my carpet and was told they will have him call me. A week later I had heard nothing and tried both him and the office several times. The office kept saying they will have him call and he kept sending my calls straight to voicemail. I never heard back from them. If they didnt want to do the job they could have just told me!

We put a deposit of $18,500 down to have Flowers Flooring install our laminate floors. After one month of delays, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps business is good and they're schedule is full. So I didn't complain. I stayed patient. But then, one more month passed, and so I reached out and began expressing my frustration with how long it has taken. They reassured me and promised the job would get done. But then, after a couple of more weeks of silence, we ended up hiring another company to do the job. Flowers Flooring said they would issue a full refund and that it would take up to 30 days to process. After about 40 days, I reached out to them asking what the status of the refund was. After all, $18,500 is a lot of money. But, after 2-3 days, we didn't get any response from Flowers. We even tried reaching out directly to the owner, and can you guess what happened? That's right, nothing. Radio silence. And so after 3 months of delays, 48 days of silence after requesting a refund, and a lot of frustration, we decided to escalate matters and reach out to our credit card company to file a dispute. Our credit card company gave us a provisional credit of $18,500 and is looking into the matter as we speak. Folks, I know there are a lot of you out there who are owed money from this criminal company. If you paid with a credit card, you are legally protected by the Fair Credit Billing Act of 1974. Open a case and get your money back! Even if you didn't pay with a credit card, contact your bank and open a dispute! We work too hard for our money to have dishonest people steal from us.
