We put a deposit of $18,500 down to have Flowers Flooring install our laminate floors. After one month of delays, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps business is good and they're schedule is full. So I didn't complain. I stayed patient. But then, one more month passed, and so I reached out and began expressing my frustration with how long it has taken. They reassured me and promised the job would get done. But then, after a couple of more weeks of silence, we ended up hiring another company to do the job. Flowers Flooring said they would issue a full refund and that it would take up to 30 days to process. After about 40 days, I reached out to them asking what the status of the refund was. After all, $18,500 is a lot of money. But, after 2-3 days, we didn't get any response from Flowers. We even tried reaching out directly to the owner, and can you guess what happened? That's right, nothing. Radio silence. And so after 3 months of delays, 48 days of silence after requesting a refund, and a lot of frustration, we decided to escalate matters and reach out to our credit card company to file a dispute. Our credit card company gave us a provisional credit of $18,500 and is looking into the matter as we speak. Folks, I know there are a lot of you out there who are owed money from this criminal company. If you paid with a credit card, you are legally protected by the Fair Credit Billing Act of 1974. Open a case and get your money back! Even if you didn't pay with a credit card, contact your bank and open a dispute! We work too hard for our money to have dishonest people steal from us.

We came in during one of the seasonal sales to check out new flooring options to redo our kitchen and bathroom. You get a lot for your dollar here to say the least, especially on one of those specials! Even if it's only 15% or something like that. We got a nice waterproof flooring model that has connections that seal without glue. They were very quick about getting their contractor out to measure (optional but only cost us $25), which ended up being very close to the estimate we had done. So that was great. In the case of the special sale pricing, they simply locked the price with a deposit and and allowed me to purchase the full amount after the person went out to measure. We actually installed our floors ourself. The price they had for the contractor to do it was great actually. Very much on the low end anyway, let alone having someone that is vetted by the company. But in our case, we were very comfortable doing it. If you're buying all the supplies from them as well as the floor, they can take the guesswork out pretty easily for you. pick up is simple and just involves you coming around to a back door where they bring everything out on a forklift. With the connection method I mentioned before, we really got the hang of the particular way they connect after about a row and figured out the best angle to hold the boards at in relation to the other so that they slid together smoothly. (About 45 degrees btw... Especially on a long seam you can slide it back and forth at that angle until it really gets in the groove, then slide it up to the second edge and fold it down onto that one. If that makes any sense.) Overall I'm very pleased with my experience here and with how easy the floors were to install and how good they feel under foot!
