We did not know that it had been sold and there was a new owner to this pizzeria location and you can definitely tell. It is pricey it is small four tables maybe but we thought we would entertain environment. We found out only upon leaving that we started by being served by the manager, and when we did not know where they went, we were then greeted by someone who became our server and we ordered three appetizers a bottle of wine and dessert $140 bill before we ordered the dessert and while we still had half a bottle of wine on the table, my husband decided to switch to beer after two beer he was told we were cut off unless we were calling a cab. So needless to say, we boxed up our dessert, asked for the bill and left the remainder of the wine, having family in the restaurant Industry we are aware of serving it right and liquor regulations , it was disheartening how the entire situation arose, and when I got the bill, I asked our server who decided to cut off my husband. We hadn't even finished the bottle of wine. She pointed to the manager Abby who turned red and walked away. So again disheartening when you want to support local businesses for the price of the food the size of the restaurant we were kind of hoping for a better guest experience our family is large and we all eat out often and we've never experienced this kind of lack of communication and I guess judgment, so we will stick with the downtown location which we recommend as far as being quaint, the staff are amazing. That's where we'll go back.

Eventually, our drinks arrived, and we ordered bread because we were so hungry, and our food had no ETA. The food, which was fine, and in decent portions, took a FULL HOUR to ARRIVE. People who were seated after us were fed well before us. There seemed to be enough wait staff - perhaps there was a crisis in the kitchen - but we were offered no explanation or proper apology, and it did not seem like anyone was actually in charge of flow. We'd made a reservation through Yelp and requested a booth. When we arrived, the hostess told us, "Oh, it looks like someone was seated at your reservation." So instead of the nice, darker corner booth we were expecting for an anniversary dinner, we were seated right at the bright front window with a romantic view of... a car. And can we talk about those front chairs? I'm a size 16 woman and could barely get my ass comfortably into one. Bigger gals, consider this your warning. Maybe that's the business strategy: tiny chairs = eat faster = table turnover. Thankfully, the FOOD was excellent. Seriously, 5. Everything tasted delicious, and our server was great throughout the meal. Then we finished eating. Apparently that activated the GET OUT sequence. We ordered a second round of drinks. My cocktail arrived, and literally about a minute later--while it was still completely full--we were asked if we wanted the bill. Shortly after that, the bill and debit machine arrived. My husband was in the washroom and I was asked whether she needed to wait for him. Nope, I paid. Meanwhile, I still hadn't even taken a sip of the drink I'd JUST ordered. Once I'd paid, I felt like our anniversary dinner was officially over whether we were ready or not. Maybe give people five minutes to actually enjoy the cocktail they just bought? I might even have ordered another one! A simple "Whenever you're ready, no rush" would have made a huge difference. And then there's the parking lot. If you drive a truck, good luck. Between the tiny spaces and all the 15-minute, 30-minute, Starbucks-only, Noodlebox-only, Little Caesars-only spots, apparently you need to arrive in a Smart car. Food: Service while eating: Service once finished eating: Ambience: Noise level: LOUD So our takeaway from Browns Socialhouse: bring a small car, a small ass, and apparently don't plan on doing too much socializing over a couple of drinks. The food was fantastic. Unfortunately, the overall experience made for a pretty shitty anniversary dinner.

If you're in a pinch, grab a slice, but unless you're truly desperate, find something else. For $5 a slice, it just isn't worth it.
