They have the BEST calzones in town so I would highly recommend that. Their sauce is very good too! My husband had a meat lovers pizza and the medium size was perfect for a grown man to eat on his own. They have two main areas to eat and then a banquet area in the back. There are TVs near the counter area and high-top tables so that may be fun for game night.

It was loaded with mozzarella cheese, didn't really taste a ton of ricotta though. Still tasty and my little guy liked trying his first calzone. He was a fan. The lady working the front is very nice and friendly, I was amazed at all of the regulars who came in that she knew by first name. I was impressed. This place looks like your standard Italian eatery, nothing to write home about but nothing to steer clear of either. It is tasty enough, close enough, and cheap enough to definitely come a regular here.

I lived in CH for about 12ish years - some elementary, all of middle and high. My mom still lives here. I must come here every time I visit. No pizza compares to theirs. Just none. Every time I move to a new place and try the local pizza , it just never tastes as good. Same with their philly hosgies. Nothing. Compares. Our December 2025 visit made my tastebuds happy. My husband got the steak Philly hoagie. I got the chicken Philly hoagie. We split so we could enjoy both. I ate both despite not having a stomach. My belly was extremely happy full. My son liked his pizza slice. I of course had to take a bite. My mom (who gets to enjoy Vincenzo's all the time) enjoyed her ravioli. I am hoping to be able to come by once more before going back to Chicago. I'm grateful I grew up with this place and can grow old with this place ;) Love you guys!

Waitress never came back to ask if we needed anything. We had to flag someone else to get refills and to get to go boxes. Also we had to find someone to bring us our checks. All the waitresses were sitting in the waiting area chatting. We will NEVER return.

I ordered a white pizza (added chicken), along with fried pickle chips and buffalo wings. Here's where I got confused: I thought the fried pickle chips would be like any other normal/crispy fried pickles, but instead, I ended up with pickles that had a soggy coating. I wasn't a fan of the wings either; they were overcooked. When you think of wings, you usually imagine them slathered in sauce (unless it states otherwise), but these were just fried chicken wings. Maybe I had the wrong expectations, but they just didn't do it for me. The pizza was okay, so I won't complain.

A Tale of Two Experiences: Phenomenal Pizza vs. Disappointing Date Night…read more We've driven by Giuseppe's many times, always telling ourselves we needed to stop. We finally pulled the trigger on a whim, ordering a pizza to-go since they offer a 5% discount for online orders. Upon walking in, the atmosphere felt warm and the staff was incredibly friendly. The Pizza (5/5 Stars): The pizza itself was everything we hoped for. The aroma in the car alone was overwhelming. We found the crust to be a perfect blend of savory and sweet with a beautiful, authentic char. The toppings were plentiful and as advertised, though I would personally prefer fresh mushrooms. If I were rating based solely on this takeout experience, it would be a solid 5 stars. The Sit-Down Dinner (2/5 Stars): Hoping for the same magic, we returned on a Friday for date night. We asked to sit in the back by the bar to avoid the crowd out front but the lighting was uncomfortably bright. When we asked our server if it was always that way, she simply shrugged. The beverage and dining experience continued to go downhill: * The Wine: The menu only lists wines by varietal with no brand names. We were mortified when our server brought out Sutter Home and Sycamore Lane, pouring it first into a measuring cup and then into our glasses. * The Food: The jalapeño poppers were standard and piping hot, but nothing special. The salad was fresh, though we ordered Italian dressing and they served creamy Italian. * The Entree: The shrimp and scallop scampi was one of the least appealing presentations I've seen. The seafood was actually cooked to perfection, but it sat atop noodles that seemed to be swimming in plain water rather than a seasoned sauce. It lacked herbs and spices, and when we asked for Parmesan to help with the flavor, we were brought a canister of "shaker cheese" (pre-grated powder) rather than fresh shavings. The Verdict: We will definitely be back for the pizza--it was a winner for us. We do plan to entertain a quick lunch. However, we'll be rethinking Giuseppe's for a sit-down dinner.

They offered slices and a kid's menu, both of which we were pleased to see. I love cheese sticks so when I saw the advertisement for special, hand breaded mozzarella bites, I decided to order them. I also got a side salad, which they were kind enough to change to a Caesar salad. I got pepperoni, green peppers, and olives on a slice of cheese pizza. We also ordered the kids spaghetti and a meat lover's pizza. The spaghetti was a hit with my daughter. She ate nearly all of it surprisingly. The pizza was good too but unlike the whole pizza, the single slice didn't have the toppings baked on. So when I picked it up, everything except the pepperoni fell off. The mozzarella bites looked great but they had no seasoning and were very bland. After eating a couple of them, I was done. The salad was supposed to be a Caesar salad but was topped with shredded mozzarella cheese and no parmesan. Service here was very good and everyone we came in contact with was pleasant and welcoming. There were a few execution issues with the food, hence the three stars. Despite this, we would return.
