I politely asked an employee if they could simply verify whether the order had been received in their system. The restaurant was not busy at the time, so I was surprised by the lack of willingness to assist with what should have been a simple request. Afterward, I asked if it would be possible to add lemon pepper seasoning to all of the chicken in my order. I made it clear that I was happy to pay any additional charge. Again, the interaction felt unprofessional, and there was little effort to provide good customer service or offer an alternative. I completely understand that employees have policies they must follow, and I respect that. My disappointment isn't because I was told "no"--it's because of the way the situation was handled. Courtesy, communication, and a willingness to help are what customers remember, especially on a large order. I hope management takes this feedback constructively.
