I want to give a big shout out to Big Boys Toyz. I am in the process of moving and was having…read moretrouble with the motor on my pontoon boat. I stopped by Big Boys Toys and explained my dilemma. They were very busy but the owner agreed to take a look at it if I brought it by the next morning. The next morning I brought it in and they immediately started checking it for me. Fortunately after trouble shooting the motor they were able to determine the problems and provide me with a course of action to remedy. I found the owner to not only be courteous but also very professional and accommodating. They went above and beyond what I had expected and I would have no difficulty recommending them to people.

(While this review relates to a car that was serviced at the same business address, I would like to…read morevouch for the competency and professionalism which the business expressed in my transaction.) This was a genuinely positive experience from the start. One of the key reasons for this was due to how reassuring Redline Rob was right away. Before he even saw the car, he expressed a calm confidence that the job could be done and that the vehicle could be restored to proper operating condition. That set the tone. I had already narrowed the issue down to the engine, which had been showing signs of trouble before the eventual failure. It's a Kia (a make known for certain gasoline direct injection challenges) and I'll be honest, I hadn't always stayed on top of maintenance milestones. The unfortunate result was an engine breakdown (something I had yet to experience in my 35 years of driving). Their team handled everything efficiently. They arranged towing to their facility and even absorbed that cost into the overall price of the repair. From there, they diagnosed the issue, sourced a proper replacement engine, and completed the entire job in about a week and a half. The difference is remarkable. It genuinely feels like driving a new car again. Included in the price of engine replacement, they also offer a four-year warranty on the engine replacement. FAIR WARNING: this warranty is contingent on routine inspection and maintenance, which is completely reasonable given the quality of service and the affordability they offer. I hope I will never need another emergency engine replacement, but it's reassuring to know this option exists. In many cases, it can be a smarter path than purchasing a new vehicle. In many cases, a far more intelligent option is to invest in the vehicle you already have, while learning how to extend its lifespan.
