I had the hazelnut Napoleon and some tea and loved the people watching tables that look out towards the street. The ambiance allows you to meet people and it was cool to connect with a local and a traveler sitting at those tables. The desserts are all delectable and the Napoleon was yum so you really can't go wrong with anything you choose.

I'd definitely come again if I was in the area. They're open late - and still bustling - and there's a decent amount of seating. Nice night ambiance. Prices are high but worth. Get: - hazelnut napoleon 5/5, perfect texture even though I'm not a hazelnut fan usually, this was wow - strawberry mousse cake 5/5, so refreshing and yummy!! - Godiva cheesecake 4/5, a bit heavier but still a solid cheesecake

I love hot chocolate and was excited to order one, but for $8, I was honestly shocked by the…read moreportion size. The cup was TINY -- not even what I would consider a normal child-size serving. It felt much more like a small tasting or shot-size cup. I don't mind paying a premium for something special, but there needs to be some reasonable relationship between the price and what you're actually receiving. At $8 each, I expected an actual cup of hot chocolate, not a few sips. It unfortunately came across as unnecessarily stingy, especially for something as simple and comforting as hot chocolate. A more generous serving -- or at the very least making the unusually small size clear before ordering -- would make a huge difference. The hot chocolate itself may is truly lovely, but at this portion and price, I wouldn't order it again. Bummer.

She said it was the best shaved ice she's ever had and way better than any she even had in Hawaii. I was intrigued and suggested to my husband we stop by after dinner one night. This cafe is soooo cute. I'm here on vacation and trying not to work, but if i needed to work for a few hours I would definitely go here. I'd work and eat one dessert after another. The mango shaved ice was even better than expected. It was ginormous and I was full from dinner, but did a pretty good job eating most of it because it was too delicious to stop. My husband got a piece of blueberry cheesecake and i couldn't help, but have a few bites of that as well. I was hoping to make it back a second (or third) time, but sadly don't think we are going to have time. Another reason to come back to Asheville and it may just be my first stop!

Came here on a rainy day for a fun (and tasty) indoor activity. They offer guided tours of the…read morechocolate making process a few times a day and while the factory itself isn't huge, it's fun to learn about how your chocolate gets made. That and the smell is intoxicating the moment you walk in. The cafe has some small items (baked goods, coffee, ice cream, bonbons), so we grabbed a few for us to nibble and share. The brownie is amazing - fudgy, yet crisp top, lots of chocolate, probably the best I've had. Peanut butter cookie has the black and white cookie vibe where it is half dipped with dark chocolate and spinkled with sea salt. We also tried a bonbon flight with some interesting truffle flavors (chai, raspberry, honey caramel, etc) but the standout for sure was just the classic single origin. That said, the chocolate is quite pricey per bonbon - you pay for what you get for sure, but its definitely a splurge type item.

The BEST bakery I have been to in a very long time. We started out sharing a ham and cheese croissant. The ham and cheese was baked into the croissant. Light, flaky, and very delicious. I am surprised my husband let me have more than one bite. We ordered the quiche of the day and the one available every day. The ham and cheese was the quiche of the day. It was light, creamy, and very rich. The other quiche had spinach, feta, and tomatoes. It was equally delicious. Go and check them out. You will not be sorry. Go now.
