But when you're looking forward to the chocolate button it means you aren't getting what you need from the ginger head, ginger arms or ginger legs. The gingerbread man was lacking in moisture and was a little 'unleavened'. It had a reasonable amount of ginger twang which was its saving grace, but overall too flat, too crisp and too small at a $2.70 price point. Finally a little more energy from the staff. When you buy a gingerbread man you are excited, probably been thinking about it all day. When you walk into the bakery you want to see Father Christmas smiling at you while he gives you the present. Ideally a little skip on the way to the gingerbread man tray. The mopey staff were starting to dampen my mood, and a few years ago that would have brought me down. But not today.
