Simply a magnificent experience-romantic and relaxing. We discovered this place last year via Hidden Ireland, and true to the sites promise, a stay here is a step into a world of spectacular natural beauty, glorious Georgian architecture and (beyond delicious culinary school-trained) home cooking. Kate and Jim are natural hosts; respectful, accommodating and easy-going. We enjoyed mornings of long walks watching the Nicholson's thoroughbreds grazing, afternoons in sleepy local pubs, and evenings reading and chatting by the fire. And, in spite of what you might assume from a 300 year old country house, the internet works just fine!
