And so, I will say this about that... in the almost 40 years of working in that industry, I have never, ever, ever found a company that provides the level of service, care and integrity that High Point Payroll has delivered to me. There is never a quibble about fees for this or that. They are professional, accommodating, and compassionate. Their prices are very reasonable for the industry and, still, the put my last PR company to shame. Sometimes I'm actually embarrassed when I get my bill because its a small amount for all the work they do for me. Beyond that, they are just good human beings. They do the right thing, no matter what. They know their clients as humans, too. They care when they don't even have to. I recently changed my CPA and had to find a new one plus a bookkeeper in my area. Every single QuickBooks bookkeeper I found insisted that I use their preferred payroll company. There is no way I'd switch, even for convenience and to make my search easier. And trust me, I love convenience. I will not leave them until the day I close my doors. Or they do. And I hope they don't because I'd be crushed. They're The One for me!

However, in 2012 I got letter from the IRS stating there was a problem with my tax return. MCLR assured me that there was a mistake and they would take care of it. After several years of nothing happening besides threats of having my bank accounts frozen, I called the IRS myself only to find out that some information they requested was not submitted by MCLR and that my case had been formally closed almost 2 years ago because of this. He didn't ask any questions regarding deductions or any other information. He had everything done in about 30 minutes and sent me on my way. I had not received my 2nd and 3rd stimulus checks because they were sent to my old address. I told him about this and he put down on my tax form that I received both checks. He also misspelled my last name on all of my forms which ended up causing me not to receive my full refund. I'm pleased (so far) with his services. He's done a good job on our taxes now for two years straight after I found him through a recommendation after I bailed on my longtime CPA in Flushing because they fouled up a tax return. Mr. Kubik managed to undo the damage done by my former CPA, and didn't charge me more for the snafu. While the cost of different tax returns will vary, our taxes cost about $150- not too bad.
