I have nothing but good things to say about her. Any agent can handle a purchase where everything goes smoothly, but you can't know in advance when the other side is going to get difficult, and that is when it really makes a difference. Our purchase ended up having some tough issues with the sellers; through it all, Kathleen was professional, responsive, knowledgable, a good negotiator, and pushed hard to make sure our interests were represented well. I couldn't recommend her more highly. You're in very good hands if she's your agent/broker.

Our buying process took a long time as inventory was low and our criteria was strict. She was extremely patient, never pressured us, and often got us in early to properties before they hit the market. When we finally found a home we wanted, the escrow process turned out to be difficult for reasons beyond our control. Kathleen has a combination of excellent communication, integrity, and skillful negotiation. Her extensive detailed knowledge from everything from sewer lines, water heaters, foundation issues, contract legality, etc helped us tremendously through all the issues we encountered. If she didn't have the answer, she worked quickly to get us in contact with the right person. My husband and I turned to each other several times during the escrow process and said we never would have been able to close without Kathleen. She is top notch in every respect. I wouldn't want to buy another house without her.

I was referred by a friend of my daughter, and Anna very quickly provided guidance and a sales plan that made sense. The written marketing plan included support for the selling price, which was very helpful as the market was so volatile in 2022! Anna did an amazing job! She coordinated with the property manager to help ease the tenants out of the home, including making several site visits. During that time, she arranged repairs, repainting and staging. Once the house was prepared, it looked beautiful! Her recommended trades people did good work at a fair price, with Anna doing all the groundwork to make the maintenance happen. Anna sold the home very quickly with multiple offers significantly over the listing price. Escrow closed easily, with Anna arranging all the paperwork long distance, handling a slightly complex trust situation with her recommend escrow agent during the process to everyone's satisfaction. I was able to sign and close without a single visit to Ventura! I cannot recommend Anna more highly. It was an emotional time, as the home was purchased in 1967, and it was where I grew up. Anna was supportive throughout, extremely responsive and provided all the communication I needed without overload :). Her professionalism shined, and it was a success financially due to her savvy. My friends rented for a number of years from them (actually in the same home I'm living in now) and had glowing reviews about how warm and friendly the staff are. I have only had positive experiences with them and happily recommend renting from this wonderful company. Ventura Enterprises has a more "mom and pop" feel than the other rental companies I've dealt with in IV. Kathleen and Ellie, both of whom my housemates and I have worked with are extremely professional and efficient, quick to get back to phone calls and eager to help when there are things that need to be fixed. I'm happy to be renting with them and hope to continue to do so for the next few years.

In addition to this, this rental agency as a whole is amazing! I could not have wished for a better renting experience! My advice to you is that if you are ever struggling to pay rent, just communicate with either Kathleen and Eli as they highly value communication. While they are very nice about working with students, do know that they will not tolerate bullshit!! Quite simply, if you work with them, they will work with you! Same applies to the apt manager at 6584 Cordoba! He's a hella chill manager!! In closing, if you choose to rent from this agency, do note this it is not like most of the slumlord owners and managers in IV. Ventura actually responds to complaints and maintenance issues.
