I made an appointment for my wife as a surprise and she came back home saying it was one of the worst massages she's ever had. We are part time residents in Venice and my only experience with massage has been at home in New England. Unfortunately, covid killed that business. I was apprehensive about trying Li's... kind of small, hidden away in a strip mall. I booked 30 mins to start ... figured how bad can it be? Turns out... it was awesome and I immediately booked an hour, which I enjoyed today. Reasonable, clean and definitely ask for Karen. She is amazing. I had an amazing experience at least massage. I haven't felt better about my back in years, the lady who did my massage started conservatively until she found my problem areas and then went right to work. She found the trouble areas before I could even point them out, and concentrated her efforts there. I recommend them highly and will continue to return to these folks. read more

I echoed the first reviewer. I was visiting family and decided to splurge on a 90 minute massage. I am an athlete and have a lot of tense muscles and tightness all over and needed some relief. This massage was great. The masseuse could tell my problem areas and really worked through them. She also stretched out my problem areas (hamstrings, hips, and flutes). She was also very friendly and nice. Highly recommended and will be back when I'm in town. read more

WONDERFUL first time visit. Did not get my therapist's name (not the owner)- nice friendly woman who spoke sufficient English. Sometimes I hesitate to go to an Asian massage therapy business in fear of its 'legitimacy/appropriateness' but no need to hesitate here- very legitimate/professional. Facility is very clean and the therapist was highly skilled. I had a one hour Swedish massage which included hot towel. Glute work was included (not generally the case at non Asian places) which was done professionally and really added to the massage (big muscle group). I happen to be a licensed massage therapist myself and would highly recommend Li's Massage Spa. read more
