In addition to taking the work off my shoulders by making perfect design decisions, Lucy was a god-send on event day. I have a lot of event planning experience, and it is incredibly rare that a vendor shows up and just does their job. Generally, everyone asks a million questions and needs a lot of direction. Lucy, however, arrived with a smile on her face and JUST GOT TO WORK. On event day, there is nothing better than a helper who just takes initiative. It is beyond clear to me that Lucy is a very experienced professional in her field. Without a doubt, I would never hesitate to trust Redefined Designs and Events to take on even more event planning roles in the future. What a rock star.

I rented chairs and linens from Ideal Wedding & Events for my daughter's wedding on June 2nd, 2012…read more We arranged to have chairs delivered and set-up at our outdoor location for the ceremony, and we also had chairs and linens delivered to our indoor location for the reception. The chairs that were delivered for the ceremony were a little dirty, but otherwise okay. The chairs that were delivered to the reception were also dirty, and the linens were stained. We were able to wipe down the chairs, but unfortunately there was not much we could do about the linens. I expressed my concerns to the Ideal wedding staff member that was setting up the chairs at the ceremony. He did not seem surprised at the quality, and explained that sometimes when Ideal Wedding & Events is overbooked, they rent from another company in order to fulfill all of the orders. We also had problems with some of the sizes of the linens, and as a result we were not able to use them. Luckily, the staff at the reception location was able to set us up with some table skirting that they had on hand. I have been trying to reach Blake (manager) at Ideal Wedding & Events for the last several days. I have left numerous voicemails with the details of my experience and a request for a return call. So far, I have not heard back. At this point I am questioning if cusomer satisfaction is important to Blake and this company.

We had a wedding with 100 guests at McKennan Park and when we go to the park, there were no chairs. Our guests had to stand and/or sit on the three picnic tables we were able to carry to the wedding area. Just as the bride was about to walk down the aisle, the truck and trailer pulled up with chairs to be delivered. The gentlemen didn't seem too concerned at their tardiness, and only said that they had another pick up to do in Iowa that had delayed them. At that point, we declined their services. Clearly, their delivery schedule was too full to accommodate both events, and they should have advised us of the scheduling conflict. We tried to call the phone number given us when we saw there were no chairs, but there was no answer at the office. This was a very unfortunate event that caused some unnecessary stress for the wedding party. I would not use them again...

I live in Minneapolis, but working with Brandi through email and her website online was easy. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and she kept me posted on when my cards would be printed and shipped. I didn't know exactly what I wanted for my wedding invitations, so I talked to Brandi about some ideas and then she created a few ideas for me. We went through multiple changes and variations until they were perfect, and she was positive and responsive the whole time! She never made me feel bad for asking to see another minor change on my invites. I was very happy with my invitations and the cost was reasonable too.
