My experience with ACME has been amazing…read more Having (sadly) been through this experience once before, I can definitively let you know ACME is the way to go!! The staff is all extremely friendly. Anna at the front desk was extremely friendly, and explained all my responsibilities immediately. She put me at ease letting me know my timeline, what my costs would be and what my experience would be like. Billing was always consistent and fair, and they even let you run a balance if you can't afford to pay every time. I appreciated their flexibility when it came to that considering how tight money can be when dealing with a DUI. My counselor Bobby was fantastic. He was always straight forward and kind. I found he was able to really help me get to to the root of my problems so we could deal with what was really going on. I look forward to every visit and know I will be treated with dignity and realistically. (The competition preaches a lifetime of sobriety, which isn't necessarily the answer for every person, every time, and I appreciated that.) I feel like they dealt with me as an individual, and not as just "another drunk driver." The group meetings were also productive. The leader was friendly and gently encouraged participation without making you feel overly exposed. We had discussions but also watched videos or had other activities. And BONUS: THEY FEED YOU FOR EVERY GROUP SESSION. Seriously, how awesome is that?! Everyone can use a little pizza in their lives, Especially when discussing your problems. Cannot recommend this company enough. Don't waste your time (or your money) anywhere else!!!

The Dr. Was very thorough and not pushy. He listened and took his time. It didn't feel like the other chiropractic offices I had been to before where they come in for 3 mins then after the 1st appointment they have you scheduled 3 days a week for the next couple of months. The front desk was friendly and very helpful with trying to figure out the best benefits of my insurance. They also have masseuses. I had a massage from Heidi and it was the best message of my life. I have been a fan of this practice over about five years. It is the first chiropractic place I…read moreever went to that actually fixed me. I had been to others that did the "flying seven", ...a wham-bam way to get clients through with a set amount of cracks that have little regard for your actual ailment. That is NOT Mid-Valley. They carefully ask what is bothering you, warm up the area, and then work their way around your body and actually find the problem spots. Typically the patient will feel it just as the doc locates the problem spot with his knowledgeable fingers. Dr. Aptecker Sr. adjusted a rib that had been out for 20yrs in my estimation. I had no idea and for the first time in my adult life I was standing upright. Mid-valley gave me good advice on how I could help myself at home and did not try to schedule me with some set number of future appointments whereby they could guarantee their revenue. They use a drop table, manual adjustments, and an activator, amongst other tools of the trade. The practice recently changed hands to the daughter and her business partner from the previous doc. The two are carrying on with good practice. Dr. Wilson did a very fine job adjusting me the other day and I feel great today and decided I needed to yelp about it!
