He fails miserably at keeping his clients informed as to their case progress. I had to go to the state of Iowa , Dallas and Polk county web sites to see the progress of my case As with many vendors today you have to stay on their back to insure you get your moneys worth I trusted this lawyer to get some of my property back from the city of west des moines iowa, he did not. I had to get my own property back , thru letters and calls. He may have been a competent attorney at one time but now he is just an 'ambulance chaser'. Spend your money wisely, do research if you have the time, Just because the lawyer is in 'good standing' with the State Bar ASSOC means little-watch these vendors ,your freedom may depend on it.

We retained Tara for an international family law case. Of over twenty attorneys that we consulted…read morewith, Tara was the one who made us feel comfortable. She asked us a lot of questions. Many of the other attorneys we talked to did not. Dealing with the family court is extremely stressful. Tara was never overly emotional regarding our case (I wouldn't want a lawyer that was) but we could tell that she cared about the outcome. She is honest and doesn't promise things she cannot deliver. Some lawyers may tell you what you want to hear. Tara tells you the truth. And she works hard to get you the best outcome within the framework of a system that is often times outdated! I'm happy we retained her to represent us and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

A truly amazing law firm and compassionate group of individuals that will work with you and help…read moreyou get the compensation and support you need following the life changing events you endure after a Medical Malpractice incident. Mark Spellman and his associates will help you and your family in any and every way they can! They stood by my family and myself and were in constant communication with us, letting us know what was going on with our case and breaking it down so that we could fully understand the legal proceedings that were ongoing. They were there for us through every step of the case including finding us expert witnesses that were able to fight and identify the various circumstances surrounding our case. My case was probably very different than many other cases due to my military service and having a majority of my care being completed with the Veteran's Affairs. I strongly recommend Mark Spellman and his Law Firm to any and all individuals facing a potential Medical Malpractice case, including my fellow Veterans' and their families. Mr. Spellman showed the upmost professionalism and compassion for my issues and was always willing to take my call at anytime day or night. He was always there for me to help me understand and appreciate the significance of my case. He took my opinions and medical issues seriously and worked with me through some of mine and my family's darkest times. I cannot stress enough how significant this was for me after facing the life changing and debilitating events following my medical malpractice incident. The dark times I speak of remain some of the worst I have been through in my life and even though I know my case is completed I know I can still count on Mr. Spellman to be there for me and my family should we need or require it. I cannot express my true appreciation or admiration of Mr. Spellman's expertise and guidance with my case! Even with the unique and complex nature of my case Mr. Spellman's firm and his associates always went above and beyond with their efforts and their expertise in helping us receive the compensation and care I required after going through the life changing and debilitating events that happened to me. This always included ensuring that my family was the top priority in dealing with my Medical Malpractice case. I cannot speak highly enough of Mr. Spellman and his firm, it is my personal opinion for anyone facing legal proceedings following a Medical Malpractice incident, that you consider Mr. Mark Spellman and his staff first and foremost as they will fight for you and your families best interests through the entire process!
