We had an idea of what we wanted. We found a picture and showed the tattoo artist. We asked him to replicate it but a little differently. He kept telling us he couldn't. He opened up his huge iPad and had us find a google image of what we wanted. That was the problem! We couldn't find exact pictures of what we wanted. We were expecting him to take our picture and ideas and CREATE a design. We had to have a google image or it couldn't be done...? ‍ After about an hour of going back and forth we finally gave in. He showed us a bunch of his work. He is really talented and his pieces looked amazing! He was VERY sterile. Between my friend and I we had to wait for him to sanitize and change out stuff for my turn. He was really friendly. We were a little nervous and he laughed with us. Overall, he was a great guy and very talented but we don't like the tattoos. It just wasn't what we wanted. Yes, we should have left if we didn't like the initial copy but we were there and excited so we went with it thinking it would look better when we saw it on us. My tattoo wasn't in the exact spot I wanted. Totally my fault because I could have asked him to move it. All-in-all I would recommend his place but now I have to find someone who will actually SKETCH (not google) an image to fix our tattoos.

Abbey was professional and clear, and worked with me on a memorial design I wanted. I supplied printed pictures of the elements of the tattoo, and she turned it into art for my arm. I made several bigger changes several days before my tattoo appointment, and was able to because she emailed me the design. I had several small last minute changes on the appointed day, and she quickly incorporated those, working on a pad and showing me the changes as we went. Abbey assisted me in proper sizing for my upper arm, and best placement thereof. Although I am a newbie, I felt confident that her advice was sound, and the end product bore that out. Her chair, arm support, lighting, available water and bathroom, and studio decor all contributed to a pleasant experience and good conversation. I was at ease. Anbey's artwork impressed me as the style that I wanted for my piece. I'm glad I went with her -- she is very talented. The shop is clean and comfortable. The staff is professional. The music is loud enough to hear, but low enough for conversation, even with Swedish Death Metal playing (not sure; not my genre). I received full and clear information about the process from the first day I walked in to plan my tattoo. Everything was laid out, with paper and online lists.
