The notice at the beginning that insulation was coming out and they stopped immediately , they contacted the Repair crew to see if they could finish the job without damaging the Vent. The Repair crew indicated that the vent was White Flex Tubbing which is not recommended for a Dryer Vent. The Repair crew used a camera to see where the damage was at and luckily it was only at the beginning they were able to repair that and was able to clean out the Duct without any further problems. I was impressed that both teams that came out to clean out my Duct did a very good job at getting it done without causing further damage that could of resulted in a very expensive repair job. I believed that they did what was best for me and not that company to get the job done at a reasonable cost.

We had a major…read moreblockage causing sewage to back up in our basement, and when we called in the middle of the night the on call service told us they had availability and a tech would be out from 8am-12pm.. that is until the morning rolled around and the tech called to tell us they don't actually have any availability until Monday and can't come out during the weekend. Don't call yourself a 24/7 plumbing place if you don't actually work on the weekend? Don't waste your time, call someone else.

Naturally, we ended up adding on a few more areas, but they did an excellent job. They were professional, efficient and mindful of our home by placing plastic on the floor and barriers around corners where their equipment might rub to avoid any damage. We would absolutely use them again.

When technician arrived he did not explain anything at all and seemed uninterested in any aspect of his job and seemed to forget entirely that he is in the service industry. His truck looked like all the equipment was thrown blindly inside and was a mess, he had to dig through a pile of who knows what just to unbury his vacuum hose. Once inside he simply told me that my HVAC had 4 main lines and 4 returns without stepping foot in the HVAC closet, he informed me it would be 400.00$ to do all the work. He cleaned the main return line only 1/3 of the line. He cleaned a very small portion of that main line and did not include photos I asked him to take of the unfinished side even though he did take them. He also left metal shards all over my HVAC room floor from where he cut into the main line. Overall I would say this was not an ideal service provided and seemed more like a scam. Zero customer service. Unfortunate to say the least. Not looking for anything but a forum to provide my feedback regarding lack of professional service from Affordable Air Duct Cleaning. The air compressor used to run their vacuum leaked rusty water on one of our rugs (this also wasn't mentioned until we pointed it out). No offer of compensation was made for either the walls or the rug. "Oh, sorry about that" was what we got. One of the wokers scratched his behind constantly. Heard complaints about not being paid by the owner. I don't know what the standard of professionalism is with this company but it must be low.
