I tried my first class and realized immediately, that this place was the real deal. Everyone was tough, but also very friendly and helpful. It is always nice to feel welcome. Everyone I met did just that, they made me feel at home in a place where I had never been. They also showed me how effective Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu could be after even a short amount of time. So, I signed up right after class that day. I could tell right away, that what they were teaching really worked (even on the most unwilling opponents). I thought that training in Martial Arts would be an excellent way to keep up motivation and get a good workout in at the same time. I discovered Pro Edge gym and started training back in June. This has proven to be one of the best decisions I ever made. The gym is phenomenal, they have a professional staff, a large variety of equipment, multiple classes to chose from, and high-quality Trainers. For me, I thought it would be best to go with the one on one training sessions. My trainer, Albe, has been great. He has kept the training exciting and motivating by mixing a variety of different techniques and styles to keep you eager to continue on. He has really helped drive me to continue on my weight loss journey, and though the one on one training sessions, it has been an excellent way for me to stay accountable to the plan. The best part is I feel like I'm learning a valuable skill in the process of becoming a healer person. I highly recommend this place and Albe to anyone looking to get in shape, develop their skills, or just looking for something to do. I really have enjoyed my time and will continue on.

My kids are the same age as my cousin, ages 7 and 9 and they started here 2 months ago for the kids class. My kids come 5x a week and I have noticed a huge difference in my kids strength and confidence. Coach Issa is amazing with the kids as is John. They have met many kids from their class that they now consider friends and I am so happy to have like minded, strong, mindful kids they can identify with! During the pandemic coach Issa did online lessons which encouraged the kids to continue with their training even while at home. It's so fantastic because I notice when my kids are stressed from this online school and unenthusiastic before class they always come out energized, fulfilled and with huge smiles on their faces after they leave! Eventually they compete- once they are at a certain level and competitions start again. My kids are huge competitors and thrive off energy and discipline so I am extremely happy my uncle referred me to this gem of a place!! They are extremely clean here and fully clean it after every class. You remove shoes when you walk in, even the parents and you can sit and watch the kids or leave while they are practicing. I have noticed also that my kids balance has improved greatly since coming here! They are better on their skateboards, falling less and injuring themselves less. The second incident was when "coach" Alejandra decided to stare me down twice at my children's class. Instead of talking to me about any issues or concerns Issa decided to move her to another class, never addressing me about it. As a business owner myself I know how to respect and communicate with the people that keep my business running. Would have loved my girls to be apart of the team but it doesn't seem that's what they wanted. No politics or drama - Coach Scott has a very clear curriculum that is required for each belt promotion. And they include quite a bit of self defense and explain how it applies in those situations.
