Through it, I've come to know some of the NDCC professionals quite well. And to know them is to love them. It became quite clear early on that NDCC REALLY CARES about the women they serve. And not just about their career opportunity - but their whole beings. I've mentored women in the E3 program who received specialized and specific care - as they really needed it as they were dealing with not only work challenges - but also trauma (as many of our women do). NDCC provides a safe, caring environment that makes these women feel loved and supported. A true gift. Their location is great - right down town. But not too centrally located as you can always find a meter to park. Their office-like environment with meeting rooms is perfect for whatever type of function in being held. I've been there a couple times for mentor-mentee match days, as well as networking and program presentation. I know NDCC is fabulous as helping women with resumes, interviewing prep and job placement. They also have clinical staff for mental health support. I'm sure there are additional resources - but these are the few that I know of personally. I highly recommend NDCC as a resource for women who need help with job skills, placement and other career related needs!

WORST Customer Service I have ever received! I called for a quote and they wanted all of my…read moreinformation. I kindly told the representative that I did not want to provide my information yet but I did want a quote. The gentleman told me that he had better things to do than to chase down potential customers and if I could not give him my information that he could not give me a quote, then he hung up. I called back and got Mike on the phone. Mike asked for generic information which I provided and asked if I currently had a service and I advised that yes we did (Shred-It) and he asked what we paid. I let him know we paid $40 for two bins every eight weeks. He said that he could not beat that quote. I said well I am still interested in knowing the cost of the service and he told me he couldn't do that and hung up on me! When I called back again I got a manager and she took no ownership of what had happened and did not apologize; however, she then wanted to provide me of a service quote! These people are miserable and I would not give them any business! Shred- It on the other hand was very customer centric and really cared about my cost and experience!

Low and behold, another $3k later in charges after my final hearing. Now, the guardianship case was successful but $8k later? The lack of communication after hiring a lawyer for that much money was insane. Almost no help or guidance was provided from the office during the process. This is all new to anyone going through this process for the first time and it would be nice for your own lawyer to show you the ropes. Not even close. They're email communication was horrible. They just sent attachments and said read this. No personalized communications that you would expect from the lawyer, that you hired, and paid $5k for. Don't make the same mistake I did. Stay far away!
