A cute little airport that has two gates which means you don't have to walk for miles. They have a small shop before security and a nice little Cafe upstairs if you are thirsty or hungry. Their security is fairly friendly and no long lines to worry about. Linköping City Airport... Inserting bummed emoji now: You couldn't be any smaller. Really. I know there is no need for Linköping to have a big fancy airport. But even though I do like little airports (no big lines, passing through security easily, cheap flights etc.), I was not too happy to find out that the baggage claim area only had 2 shared restrooms for males and females. Maybe I just happened to be in a plane with passengers that - just like me - didn't bother to use the restroom in the aircraft and rather waited to go once we landed. Help haha! Securing your spot in line in front of the restroom, while keeping an eye on the baggage carousel was not fun. Plus there is only one sliding door between the baggage claim area and the arrival gate. So every time a person leaves the baggage claim area, the ones whom are picking you up can see you standing in line at the baggage carousel, the restroom, or both. Luckily the Swedes are the nicest people ever and we all laughed about the fact that almost everyone apparently needed to use the restroom. Upon departure everything was perfect. Enough restrooms. Check! A small souvenir shop and cafe. And a small relaxing area with free wifi. read more
