Kids often get sick here because of the poorly maintained facility.(Broken and old toys, too many germs). Many kids constantly have fever, constant running nose,flu. Children are moved across rooms and this was not informed at the time of tour. There are new hires frequently and its not clear why they change the staff unnecessarily. This kind of change is stressful for kids. If you are a current parent, know that you must get an incident report if your child was hurt at school. Make sure you ask your children about their day. Visit the facility unannounced at times other than pickup and drop-off. (You will see how horrible the place is when they are at lunch. Half of the children sit down to eat when a few are sent to the restroom wide open in the same room and are changed. The entire room reeks as the rest of the kids eat. Some kids nap near/under the sinks and in front of toilets.Terrible because there are way too many children in a classroom than the actual capacity). Most of the kids food gets thrown away and empty boxes are sent home to make it look like children ate well. Asking about this did not get it resolved and all you will get is a rude response from the director. If your children are constantly falling sick, take time off and you will see the difference. If you are considering this school, just do not do it. Overall, this is a poorly run daycare - NOT a school.Its a toxic and unethical place with a lying&cheating director. Find a real school if you want your child's needs to be met. I strongly recommend against sending your children here. Look for other options and do not consider this even as your last option.

The values, educational emphasis, and vision of this school as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School are second-to-none. If you want the best for your child (K through 12), this is a terrific school! What I find exceptional about the school is the level of care of the teachers and staff. My child is not just a number. With small class size, the attention on each child is great. Teachers and staff members, who do not have my child in class, know him by name and greet him daily. There are plenty of school-wide activities that are wonderful to participate in, as a parent. It truly is not just a place to get an amazing education, it is a family of like-minded individuals, who want the best for their children and who want something more than the typical public school education. I'll finish with this: what sold me on the Academy is the emphasis on preparing "thinkers" for a world that is constantly-changing; they gear their education to teach children "how" to problem-solve, not just how to memorize for the test; they acknowledge the global-connectedness that our world is currently experiencing, and as such their philosophy is train the students to be prepared for the globally-connected workplace, not just how to graduate with a diploma.
