Sherri M Stinson Attorney at Law My wife and I recently…read more(finally) updated our Will and created a Living Trust as well Medial Directives, which included identifying a health surrogate and power of attorney representative. We wanted someone local to Palm Harbor and we found the Law Offices of Sherri M. Stinson. Attorney Stinson, who I will refer to as Sherri, set up an initial call (no charge) to be sure that her office would be the correct fit for our needs. Sherri, patiently, educated us on all of particulars involved in a comprehensive Estate Plan. Sherri and her legal assistant Kelsey provided very clear communication and direction throughout the process. Sherri takes, what to some may be an uncomfortable conversation and presents it back to you in such a way that you feel very good about what you are doing. Our goals going into this was to be sure that what we have worked for throughout the years is directed to our specified heirs without any outside legal intervention, like probate courts. Sherri will also be available to answer any follow-up questions or concerns. We highly recommend Sherri M. Stinson for your Estate Planning needs. She will help you maintain your legacy by providing the ultimate act of love for your family once you are gone. Sherri lives local, her and her family are involved in the schools and the community, giving back often. Derek & his office went above & beyond for me in a tough time that I still have. Derek's knowledge, communication, office staff & empathy are 100-star ratings. I'm sure we can all agree it's challenging to find a legal presentation that we can trust. I've known Derek for about five years now & helped me with a few cases with incredible work. One day, I had a hearing, and my car wouldn't start. I called Derek immediately, and guess what? Derek, willingly without asking, came to my house to help jump my car so I could get to court. That is how much he cares for his clients. Not many people would even consider that. If anyone needs legal representation, please call Derek & the office for a consultation. I can say it will be the best call you make. Thank you, Derek, Alyssa & Cat, for such great work and for treating me like family. I will never forget your help.

Since the officer released me without giving me a citation I thought the matter was completely settled after I got my vehicle repaired. I was horrified a few months later when I received a letter in the mail informing me that my driver's license was about to be suspended for an unpaid fine! It turns out that when the officer filed his report he did issue me a citation. Even worse, the citation was for something that could not possibly apply to me. Within a day of me hiring him Mr. Warshofsky was able to reach out to the judge's office and have the upcoming suspension removed so that I could keep driving. I still had to wait two months for a trial to clear my name. During that time I sent Mr. Warshofsky several questions. He always patiently and quickly answered them to help put my mind at ease. Besides having expertise on your side, there is another benefit to hiring a lawyer for a traffic offense. They will go in your place to the trial and you do not have to attend. The last thing I would want to do is go to a courthouse during a pandemic. The trial ended up being via Zoom, but not having to worry about going to the courtroom took a weight off of my shoulders. On the day of the trial he could have waited until the end of the day to let me know what happened. In fact he called me 10 minutes after the listed start time of the trial to let me know the judge had already dismissed my case. I hope that I never have another reason to hire Mr. Warshofsky but if I do I will hire him again without a moment's hesitation!

Just noticed a television ad from Saunders & Walker claiming to help child sexual abuse victims…read morehurt by priests. Here is a brief synopsis of my experience with them. I hired this firm in 2016. They failed to help me, even made things worse. They seemed to be working for the church. The church admitted responsibility for the actions of the priest involved, at first. There are other victims. They attempted to force me to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) where they would write me a tiny check if I swear to keep quiet about the violent sexual attack I suffered at only 13 years of age. I refused to keep quiet and sign their NDA document. Not only did the lawyers at Saunders & Walker immediately and without merit drop me as a client but the therapist I had just reached an important milestone with was vindictively denied me. I was in a taxi on the way to my next therapy appointment when the therapist rang me to say "payment has been stopped. No more therapy". I still have nightmares involving the priest who raped me. My marriage of 28 years ended. I suffer from PTSD due to being raped. Fear of intimacy, plus. I live in poverty because of the clever situation paedophiles within the church and the judicial system have created to protect them, not the children who fall victim to them everyday. I was destroyed by a priest at 13 years of age. Then hurt again as an adult by their refusal to accept responsibility for the perverse actions of their own. Statute of Limitations laws and a culture of fear and secrecy protect the abusers. This must be changed! Furthermore, Mr. Saunders failed to report the sex crime to the proper authorities. I did that all on my own. No help from my attorneys at Saunders and Walker. They left me high and dry. If you have been sexually assaulted by a priest, report it to the proper authorities immediately. By posting this it could place me in peril, put me under unfair scrutiny. That is the nature of this beast, blame the victim/protect the paedophile. I have received menacing phone calls from members of the Diocese involved. I no longer care. My safety is less important than the safety of future victims the church may be targeting right now. My safety pales in comparison to future victims who fall prey to Sanders and Walker. Do not rely on Joe Saunders to help you, he may be working for the church.
