AMAZING STAY-HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I had the pleasure at staying the branch's homes with 6 other great roommates. This space allowed for us to mentor off each other and succeed in school. We built lasting bonds and I see myself being friends with my roommates for the rest of my life. Scott came over when we needed tutoring and advised us. Caroline was very understanding and invited to spend 4th of July with her family and her. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with stunning sunrise views. It's very close to campus, takes about 5 minutes to get to school. Close to grocery stores and about 20 minutes from Chico. The home is spotless and has bi-weekly cleaning lady. She does an amazing job just don't leave to much of a mess try to make her life easier. She does a lot already. House feels like a home. The beds are cozy, the living area is perfect. The guys and me truly enjoyed BBQ outside and chilling on the turf. Will definitely have a memorable experience here and create great memories. The branch family made my stay in Oroville a great experience. Caroline was very responsive and helpful every step of the way during my stay. Scott would could by every so often to bbq and help us understand things we learned in class and would help explain if we needed help. Property was in top shape and every amenity worked as it should. The property is so close to NLC making it super convenient to come back and forth to school. If I had to go to line school again, I would stay at the Branch property again. read more

This is Daniel Arbelaez, I just graduated NLC in April. I just want to say that I'm so thankful and LUCKY to be able to stay at Lineman Life Properties. I say lucky because these rooms fill up faster than NLC's spots per term. Landlord is very nice and always helpful (she knows more about linework than all of the students that go to the school lol). It's literally a 5 min drive or less to the school. Overall great place to live at and I'd recommend it to me again if I came back to school lol. THIS IS THE SPOT. this place is light years ahead of any place within a 50 mile radius. awesome property managers/owners. the owners take time out of their day to make sure you get the best experience and learning. it has every accommodation and more. 2 minutes from northwest lineman college and the AC is elite. do yourself a favor and come here. you won't regret it. dont make the mistake of looking past this place. best decision I ever made was staying here for my experience. parking, washer-dryer, man cave and pool table, pudding greens and climbing poles in the back yard. If you're going to NLC Oroville I would highly recommend staying here. The apartments are very nice, constantly being upgraded, and has great amenities to go along with. Being so close to the school is also a big plus for the early mornings. Caroline was always helpful and responsive and her husband Scott helped us with academics whenever he could. I could not have found a better place to to rent while attending Northwest Lineman College! The place is turn key livable, quite, clean, and fully furnished. A/C and heating is great . The owners are awesome people and communicate quickly! The garage has a white board for classes. I saw quite a few of the other places students were renting and Lineman Life Properties is the way to go. I say this because those students told me so. This place has been the absolute best possible place that you could live if you go to NLC for a term. At school, there are students that live at the Oroville Inn and only have terrible things to say, cars get broken into, gas getting syphoned, and windows broken. At this place, we have had not one night where we were worried. A lovely lady comes to clean our apartments very often that is free, we have wifi, a full house and the most wonderful landlords that you can ask for. The commodities are endless. If you're going to NLC, they have poles in the back yard that you are free to climb (wish supervision) and that alone makes it worth it. We tell students at school nonstop that they made a mistake by not staying here. There is no other reason to not be living here while staying for school. I already suggested a friend for next term and told him if he's not staying here then to stay in his car because there is no where better. DO NOT STAY ELSEWHERE. read more

Caroline was very sweet, super helpful, and very understanding. Great place to stay while at NLC they provide super fast WiFi all cooking utensils, Smart Televisions. Lineman cave is pretty cool to gather everyone staying there to study or play a game a pool or BP. Scott is a lineman and he'd help us study and would help us better understand. Great place to stay for what you pay, easily one of the better options, if not the best in Oroville. The property is close to the school. Clean house and property, with regular cleaning every other week. The housing is updated and comfortable with perks like barbecues, pool table, game room, and a fire pit. Our son stayed at Lineman Life Properties while attending NLC. At age 18 we felt that he was in a safe location not far from the College. We are glad he stayed there as it allowed him to meet other classmates and work in study groups during his stay. Another huge benefit was the fact that a Lineman was there who took the time to work with them if they were having any issues with assignments from school or needed help climbing as poles were set up on the property for them to practice on! If you are planning on coming to Northwest Lineman college then this is the best place to stay. I am here now and have been here since the end of November. I have spoke to others who are staying at the Inn or in other arrangements; no one and I mean no one loves where they am stay like we do. There is so much guidance and help with studying. You can practice your craft right here on the grounds. It is the ideal place to live, learn and have the camaraderie your brothers that live here with you. We cook together, study together and grow together. It is clean, quiet and you even get a rec room w/ a white board to have group study sessions. I did not personally stay at Lineman Life Properties, but my boyfriend did while attending NLC in Spring 2018. From an outside perspective, my concerns for a living situation were different than his. I wanted him to have a support network, a place that felt like home, people to relax and have fun with, and someone to go to if something was wrong. That was absolutely the case at Lineman Life Properties. The Branch family was fantastic in all of those ways. They go out of their way to make sure their accommodations feel like home. They also provide a lot of support and advice about NLC and the industry given that they all work in the utility industry. In my visits out there, they were always very kind to me and clearly took an interest in the success of each of their tenants. Having him away from home for 15 weeks was tough, but I felt a lot better knowing he was staying with such a great group of people. read more

All the students in my crew at NLC were wishing they would've done a bit more research and found this location. If you are attending NLC lineman life properties is by far the best place to rent from. The branch family are extremely kind and hospitible and made my stay feel like home. They are also very knowledgeable of the power delivery industry and are very generous with their time if you have any questions. The rooms have all the amenities you could want and the location is conveniently located within a few minutes of school. There is a reason why line workers refer to themselves as a brotherhood. Line work is about family. I had my first experience with this family through Lineman Life Properties and it couldn't have been better. Not only do they have poles set up in the backyard, but Brandon will work with you on both field skills and classroom topics. My very first steps on a pole was with Brandon guiding me and he's an excellent example of how far your skills can grow. Caroline and Scott share the desire with Brandon, to mentor you and together offer a well rounded and long line of knowledge about line work. The living conditions are leaps and bounds better than what you could possibly hope to get with student housing provided through NLC. The simple fact that you can cook your own food here is worth your choice alone. Add in the access to a generous family of line workers and the choice becomes a no-brainer. Try your absolute hardest to rent from Lineman Life Properties because they book up extremely fast. Make your experience with Northwest Lineman College the best it can possibly be. read more

This is by far the best place to rent in Oroville. Very reasonable rent, which includes ALL utilities and biweekly cleaning. They also have a place to do laundry on site at no additional cost. The fact that it's fully furnished made it very easy to move in and out. The only thing you have to bring are your linens, clothes, and personal items. The landlords are all extremely nice and helpful. We had 5 boys that were coming from the same area and they wanted to rent together if at all possible. Caroline accommodated them by adding extra beds and letting them share bedrooms. One of the reasons we decided to rent from them was, they have poles on the property the kids can use to practice climbing, hanging cross arms or just getting their speed up. It was also nice that Brandon one of the landlords went to NLC and can help if there's any questions about class or climbing. And of course there's Scott he's a funny man! The boys will never forget his stories or let anyone ride their goat! Just all around great people. I'd recommend making reservations as soon as possible because they book up fast. read more

Absolutely AMAZING! My boyfriend stayed here while going to lineman school. It is very reasonably priced, the rules are limited and fair and Brandon (the owner) lives on site who graduated from the school and gives many tips! My boyfriend felt at home here and it was the most reasonably priced place we could find. Everything was included in the price too which made things easy for us. read more
