I've been out with the lineage crew twice so far. Both times were a great experience! Captain and crew are dedicated to creating an unforgettable fishing experience with up to date information and electronics to locate your target species. The Escapade itself is like no other six pack charter boat. Boasting an ample amount of fishing space makes it a more enjoyable experience. I'm looking forward to this fishing/spearfishing season with the crew at Lineage Charters

We had a WONDERFUL experience on our Full Day Private Charter with Lineage Charters!! Captain Bly, Andrew and Derek are amazing! There were 4 of us on the excursion including myself, my husband and our 2 sons, ages 11 and 14 years old. From the moment we arrived at the boat, we felt welcomed and very safe in obviously an experienced crew's hands. We rode out to the Coronado Islands off the coast of Mexico (only about 1.5hr ride out from San Diego) and then spent the day spearfishing in beautiful waters that felt very private. Derek taught us about the fish we would see and the fishing rules while we were riding out. He and Andrew helped our boys in the water to use the equipment correctly and they kept them safe. Our boys had so much fun seeing the sea lions in their native habitat and there were many that swam around them while they were fishing. Captain Bly is very conscientious, knowledgeable and kind. We love the crew at Lineage Charters, had an AMAZING experience and definitely HIGHLY recommend!! Five stars!!

    Lake Murray - Always gorgeous

Lake Murray is so beautiful and I enjoy coming here! I've been here a few times to walk the trail…read moreand also sit by the lake and read on a nice sunny morning. The birds can be a bit annoying, but guess that comes with the great outdoors. Definitely a nice spot to chill, take a walk and get those steps in. This area feels safe and well maintained. When I went, there weren't too many people, so it was pretty peaceful. The trail can get busy and there are bathrooms along the way (I didn't use them though) There's plenty of parking here, but just be sure you leave on time for closing. I've heard they lock up and it can be an issue with getting out. (not sure how true this is but I won't chance it) There is more parking elsewhere with trail access too, I just personally haven't found it.

After entering the main entrance, follow the road and turn right where you will see a yellow locked gate. This is the beginning of the paved walking trail. There's plenty of parking at the main entrance, and the paved trail is perfect for walkers, runners, bikers, and even kids tagging along. It's basically a choose-your-own-adventure: bird watching, fishing (permit required), or just a casual picnic. Bonus perks: lots of porta potties and benches when you need a breather. If you're holding out for a real restroom, there's one just past the second baseball field--plan accordingly. Photo is attached to show where to locate this. Heads up: the main gate is closed every 2nd Tuesday of the month, but don't panic--you can still access the trail through the neighborhood entrance off Baltimore Drive. Hope you enjoy this walking trail as much as I do.

H & M Landing - Yellow fin on the legend

I've been fishing out of H&M landing for many years now. This April I rode the legend for a 2 day…read moretrip. Good service from the landing, easy check in and since my annual Mexican fishing license had expired the H&M tackle shop was able to renew my annual Mexican fishing license on the spot. Trip price was great, $705 including meals for a 2 day trip. Even better was that I had some gift certificates that H&M offers each year before the holidays that give you $100 value for $80. So I used 2 gift certificates and brought my trip price down to $505 out of pocket. I'll fish out of H&M landing again in the future.

For example my rod tip eyelet came off after I boarded a multi day trip on the Relentless. This was going to be my main rod for the trip. I took it up to the tackle shop and pleaded for help. It was 15 minutes before closing. This young punk said he was the manager and told me they would not do it. The incredible Danny Wade fixed it for me anyway. Down on the boat some guy came running down, all in a panic, saying the manager was demanding $7.83 for the repair. I gave him $50 and told him to give the change to Danny Wade. I killed it that trip with that setup. When I got back in, I asked Danny if he got the change money. He did not. Grrr!
