I love that Alexis prioritizes hair health, in and outside of the salon. A previous hair dresser left my hair feeling straw-like after a balayage. After two sessions of bleach with Alexis, my hair still feels smooth and healthy. She's also super fun to talk to - appointments don't feel like three hours. If you are aiming to go from dark to blonde as quickly and as cheaply as possible, she may not be the best fit. However, if you are able and willing to spend time and money to transition in a way that maintains the integrity of your hair, Alexis is your girl.

I visited the salon for highlights and to reapply extensions that I originally got from another…read moresalon. Unfortunately the stylist reapplied my extensions wrong by using glue instead of tape, which you're only supposed to do if one falls out not on the whole head. She also used too much hair in each strip which caused it to form a bunch of knots. Strands were falling out with brushing within the first week and when I went to get them fixed the glue caused my hair to have breakage. I wouldn't normally go out of my way to leave a bad review but my hair was left damaged. I wish I would have been warned that the salon couldn't do the job instead of doing it wrong.

This will probably get deleted but she's extremely immature and unprofessional and won't think she needs to fix your hair just ghosts you like others mentioned below. I've never seen someone be so messy and not section your hair off properly. Every other girl at the salon will say watching her do hair made them cringe. I don't agree with how she handles things after spending a pretty penny and damaging hair. good luck though. Adding to her crazy response about my own mother it is a complete and utter lie. Just look at the hair and you have your answers. Anyone who is professional doesn't respond like that. Period. 0 accountability. I guess having an issue with your hair and getting ghosted is "harassing". very professional.

I want to share my honest experience with Sophia Rose. I came in with specific blonde inspo photos,…read morebut my end result still feels and looks very brunette. Compared to the photos I showed, my hair is a lot darker overall. When I asked her about the color being darker her reason was "we didn't do a full weav on you as well". I don't believe this was due to partial vs. full weaving, as I've had plenty of both in the past and achieved blonde results. In my opinion, the smudging and the extra darkness left in between made it much darker than what I was hoping for based on my inspiration pictures. I also spoke with her assistant about one of the photos because it appeared too dark compared to what I asked for. I have showed and asked other people's opinions and they agree that it is a lot different then what I asked for, including my nail and lash techs'. I expressed all of this in a message afterward explaining how I felt, but after it was read, I did not receive a response. That part was disappointing. I paid about $280 for a this service with the partial weave, and I did not receive the final price until I was sitting in the chair during a short consult, which I would have preferred to know ahead of time. I also feel the haircut should have been explained more clearly before cutting. Simply showing how much length was going to be removed and confirming how short it would be would have helped me feel more aware and comfortable with the change. I do appreciate that she re-toned my hair and took the time to blow dry and style it. I wanted to share my feedback for future clients who are looking for a brighter blonde result and clearer communication regarding pricing. Also, I don't want to have it corrected right now, as further processing would likely cause more damage to my hair. If anything, I would appreciate a partial refund for the inconvenience.
