This is the worst and most unprofessional dealership we have ever dealt with! Please continue reading I promise this long post is worth it! We purchased a collector car from them and we were told we can pick it up the Wednesday after Christmas weekend bc we live 6 hours away. Suddenly, the Friday before the holiday weekend, Coslyn, one of the hundreds of sales managers they have roaming aimlessly in the showroom, tells us we need to pick up the car immediately or else he will sell it to someone else. Typical car salesman with the typical car salesman suit has no idea who he's dealing with. Of course the vibe we got was he got a higher offer so he wasn't expecting us to be able to get a bank check and insurance that quickly but oh we did . We then drive the 6 hours to Virginia on December 23rd to pick up the car. With our surprise the car wasn't even ready to be delivered to us. Imagine that! He was in such a rush to get the car off the lot bc he needs to be able to allocate another car . What a joke! Our salesman, Sebastian, realized the gas gauge wasn't working so he decided to fill the tank for us. What a nice guy, right? Nope! He overfilled the tank and gas poured all down the side of the car like a little stream and left it there. It's a custom black matte finish! Are you kidding me? Hmmm...I wonder if this is related to why the gas gauge isn't working? Sounds like an issue to me! The best was Miguel, another one of those managers, took it to their technician and he said when you overfill these cars, the gauge stops reading and it will correct itself so we should be fine to to drive the 6 hours. Lmaoo!!! Sure, we'll do that geniuses! Hold on! Let me back up one second...the car didn't have a sim card either so Sebastian tells us we can get one at a dealer near us. What? This should have all been checked out during the PDI (pre delivery inspection). Boy, I would love to see who signed off on that one! Again, this place is a joke a circus run by clowns! Moving on...we left the dealer and guess what? We didn't even make it a 1/4 mile down the road and the car stalls! I wonder if this has anything to do with that gas gauge not working but how nice of them to let us leave like that. It was only a 6 hour drive I'm sure they were hoping for the best especially after we gave them $124,000, $20,000 over MSRP. It gets better people, grab your popcorn! We drive 6 hours back to NJ without the car because they have no idea what's wrong with it. If only they had performed a PDI. We finally get a call that the car is fixed and they gladly offer the have the car delivered to us and it will arrive between 8-9 am on 12/29. Wonderful! Hahahaha! It didn't show up at 8 or 9 or 10 or 11 or 12. "Hey Sebastian! Where's the car?" He doesn't know and can't get a hold of the driver. That's comforting. You all must be laughing right now but I'm literally dying! The car finally arrives!!! Yay!!! So excited!! Nope. Buzz kill. Two scratches! The transport driver showed us pictures he picked it up that way. Yup! You read that correctly. Let me remind you, this is a collector car so now we have to get this fixed. No problem! Shaun, one of the other lousy sales managers, said to get an estimate and they'll take care of it. We get an estimate and now he wants to negotiate the price! What an awful night. I'm in the market for a new four four pickup. My retired Chevy engineer friend tells me to check out Chevy. Much to my delight the Silverado's Look really solid. I see an add from Lyndsey Chevrolet In Woodbridge for great deals on 2022's. Basically 46,000. I arrive and I guess I liked the truck to much Because after insisting I test drive a similar truck they tell me I don't qualify for all the incentives. This adds $6500 back on to the cost. They show me at the bottom of the web page in the fine print that the sale cost is based on qualifying for all the incentives, I only had a disabled veteran discount which wasn't a big impact. I go to leave and they insist I talk to financing in that they can make the deal better. They offered me 0% for 48 months, great right? Well for that I'd have to give up what discounts I did have. Never mind he was trying to get me to pay $4650 for the 100,000 warranty! I walked out in disgust. Loved that truck, perhaps that was my mistake letting them know that. My retired GM engineer friend told me using my family first discount he gave me the cost at most should've been $52,250 not 59,000. Beware of these tactics it's legally not bait and switch but who searches a website for fine print. So much for a great deal on a 2022. So for an update, the sales guy blows up my phone The next morning. Even states if I don't sell this truck I don't get paid. Wow I give him my bottom line and he counters. I said we're now $2000 apart. He says come up here and we might get you there. I'm 50 miles south and I saw no, unless you can assure me the price. Drop $1000 more, keep in mind I'm still over $3000 from the advertised price. I get a flat out hell no. Lmao. I'm the one going to spend 55,000 on a new truck. If I could give them 0 stars I would. They tried to add almost 10k in Dealer fees to my car I was trying to purchase. I caught them trying to scam me and I challenged them multiple times. The finance guy I was dealing with got major attitude with me after questioning multiple things on my paperwork. I walked out and said I'm not signing anything here and they chased me out of the dealership trying to give me any deal they could. Also told me if I left I wouldn't get the "deal". I still left. They then messaged me saying my deal was good if I came in the next day. 9pm rolls around and I'm now getting txts saying someone has an appointment to look at the car I was looking at and they "didn't know what time the appointment was" and to come in ASAP the next day. The customer service here is very nice but there are shady business practices happening here. I repeat, it is not the fault of the employees, but the fault of the company/location itself. They sold my boyfriend a car that they claimed was perfect but completely broke down twice in the week after he bought it. They then said they would allow him to buy another instead. After selecting the new vehicle, and going to sign the papers for it, they changed their mind and said he had to get one of the exact same value of the initial car. So he came back for the third time. (first time was car breaking down, second time was car breaking down again, third time was selecting a new vehicle). After he selected yet another vehicle, and they agreed he could buy that one instead, he was told to come back the next day to sign the papers and buy the car. The next day he got a call saying that they weren't allowed to do that either and he had to keep the original car. I understand that he has to take the car he bought, but everything that happened from then until now is demonstrative of bad business practices. On top of this, the car he originally selected was supposedly a car in perfect condition, a 2015 with 60,000 miles on it. I really think the people who work here are good and honest people. Keep away from these liars.... They won't give you the amount of dealer fees you will pay over the phone. They say come in or we won't talk to you. God forbid you ask a question, the manager Chiniy is the most unprofessional person I have dealt with my entire life. The following happened over the phone: I called inquiring about a vehicle and when I started asking questions he responded with: "do you not want the vehicle? Do you not want to come in?" My response was: "huh? I am just asking you questions about the vehicle and the dealership fees, is a customer not allowed to ask questions?" Chiniy: "you have to come in for us to discuss, I don't negotiate over the phone." My response: "who is negotiating? I am not asking to lower prices or anything. I am just asking about your fees so I have a full picture when I get there. Is there a fee associated with certification? The car is certified but do I pay extra due to it being certified?" Chiniy: "it sounds like you don't want to come in, I am canceling your appointment, don't come in." He hangs up the phone and I am left with my jaw on the floor. He obviously had a bunch of hidden fees he was going to hit me with when I got it. When I started asking questions which as a customer it's your right to ask questions, he became combative and refused to answer or work with me. This essentially tells me that this dealership works in deception and will do anything to dupe a customer. If you choose to deal with them, it will be at your own peril. ***BEWARE**** FYI he was trying to hide something called a "blazer fee" which is on top of the processing fee. read more

Took our car in for regular maintenance and asked them if they could put on the front license plate and screws for the new VA tag since we just moved here and got the car registered. They wanted $160 to attach a $10 license plate and $2 in screws to the front of the car!!!!! We walked away from that. While online and searching the Metro DC area, Lindsey Chevrolet had the truck I was wanted which had a "Love it" price. I arranged a meeting with a salesman (James) for the following day and drove 40 miles to the dealership. The "Love it" price is a ruse... they have no intention of selling you any vehicle close to the "Love it" price. My car buying started with me not knowing what I was looking for. One of the "when I see it I'll know it's the one" deal. I was looking at the Tahoe, Blazer, Traverse and Suburban. I had already test drove a Honda Pilot. I currently own a 2003 Suburban and was replacing it finally. I was doing most of the corresponding by the internet person. Now that I had to test drive the cars I had to go in. I always hate this part. The person I was assigned to see was busy with a customer and was asked to talk with Delonte McDaniel. I told Delonte what I was looking for and that I had driven a 2019 Honda Pilot. I sat in the Tahoe and decided I did not like the lack of room in the rear and the Blazer is basically a 4 person car. I was looking for 3 rows of seats with the 2 back rows bench seats. We decided that the Traverse was the way to go. I test drove one and loved it. I was able to take it out on 95 to see if it could "get up and go". It was perfect. My problem was I need the 2nd row to be a bench seat and most of the Traverses in the area have 2 captain chairs in them. Delonte found a 2020 on the lot with bench seats. I drove it and really liked it but I only wanted 2 things on the car. A sunroof and a trailer hitch. We were able to make a great deal with those 2 things being added on. Delonte was personable and kind. I enjoyed the time spent test driving and closing the deal with Delonte. I never ever felt pressured in to buying anything. He listen to what I wanted and he delivered. So hats off to you Delonte. You are the first car salesman I can say I enjoyed working with. Keep up the good work. Called ahead to the dealership to get out the door pricing. Drove an 1.5 hrs and had all my numbers figured out. Was prequalified for the loan and had the down payment money in hand. I was buying a truck today. Got there and all of a sudden there was a $3,000 charge for some fabric shield crap. When I complained to the manager he tried to say that's what the online discount was for to offset that pricing. I said no. Your website clearly states the discount is off the MSRP. There is no mention anywhere on the website about this shield crap nor did the manager on the phone list it as part of the out the door pricing. Also low balled me on my trade by $5,000. He came back up to it when I started fighting with him about it. Last thing was they have you fill out a credit app stating they can't talk to you without and they won't run it u less you tell them too. Lie right through their teeth. My phone notified me immediately they ran it. And I almost forgot to start this whole experience off there were two salesmen literally fighting over me in the parking lot in front of me. Took them 15 minutes to figure out who was going to get the sale. I would never buy a vehicle here. I highly recommend if your looking for a car you go somewhere else. On 4/5/16 I went to the dealership to purchase a new Chevy cruise Mark was my salesman. Mark informed me I would probably get a better deal if I looked at a Chevy sonic instead of a Chevy cruze. I was trying to trade in my 2016 Mazda 3 so there was no way I wanted a Chevy Sonic. But I ended up test driving a Spark, Sonic and a Cruze I knew I wanted the Cruze so I told Mark lets do the loan application for that one. About 10 minutes after I filled out the application I was told there was no way the Chevy Cruze would work and to look at a Malibu instead. I test drove the Malibu and the ride was better than I expected so I agreed to trade in my 2016 Mazda 3 for a 2015 Chevy Malibu. Luckily my father showed up while I was test driving the Malibu. I was told since I'm so young my credit isn't that established (even though I have a mortgage) I would need a co signer. The loan ended up going into my father's name and the dealership wanted me to put down $1,500 plus my 2016 Mazda with only 1,000 miles on it. Huh? I told Mark I wouldn't give them that much money plus a newer car. We finally settled at $500 plus my trade and go off to sign paperwork. The dealership puts a big red bow on the car and I take pictures. Everything sounds good right? About a week later I start to receive phone calls from Julio in the finance department. I'm told the loan will not go through in my father's name and the bank wants only my name to be on the name. On top of that the payment will go up about another $31. I told Julio I couldn't afford that and if I was told all of this at the dealership I would have left. Julio tells me he's going to talk to his boss and see what he can do. Julio's boss calls me about 20 mins later to tell me he has been fighting with the bank about the issue and basically there was nothing I needed to do but accept the new terms and come in to sign the new loan. At this point I called my attorney to see what I can do about the situation because I have never been told I needed to come in after already driving the car and sign a different loan. On 4/18/16 I called Julio to inform him I wasn't agreeing to the new terms and I was bringing the car back. He tells me I need to bring the car back in as soon as possible because the sales department wants their car back. OK, but what about my $500 I put down Julio tells me he doesn't know. I arrived the next day (4/19) with my boyfriend to return the Chevy Malibu Julio comes out and ushers us into his office. He asks me why I don't want to keep the car and I go into my many reasons, plus everything that just happened. He tells me I own the car and I can't bring it back. I asked him how do I own the car and technically right now I don't have a loan on the car. He gets upset and tells us he will be right back. Julio returns with a paper stating I owe the dealership $661 for riding around in "their car". He also states that I must sign the documentation to get my car back (which in previous conversations he stated the car was "sold"). I called my lawyer again while I was sitting in his office and instructed Julio I wasn't going to sign the paper. After going back and forth several times I ended up signing the paper, getting my tags off off the Malibu and leaving in my 2016 Mazda (which was completely covered in pollen and out of gas). Long story short I had my credit ran and rented a $500 2015 Chevy Malibu from the dealership. I've contacted the DMV and an attorney about this situation I wouldn't believe a single 5 star review about this place. read more

As soon as I arrive (2 1/2 hr trip one way), fee switcheroo, so now it's an extra 2400 for some nonsense experience package. Undisclosed axle leak. Abs error on the dash. This review is specifically on behalf of the service department. After 3 weeks and 2 days of nonsense I'm finally got my car back today. Avoid Lindsey Chevrolet in Woodbridge with your life. I've never experienced an establishment with less integrity in my life. Long story short at first I was told my factory warranty was expired. He ends up giving me the price to fix it out of my pocket and then the price to have an employee there do it under the table. I see on my warranty something different and I tell them. They showed me paperwork and gave me numbers when it expired. It seemed factual so I file under my extended warranty. I get a full tear down of the car and carry on nonsense for another week and a half. Only for the extended warranty company to tell me that they were dishonest from the beginning and it was covered by the factory warranty all along. Then when I find this out I can't get in contact with the rep that told me all of these blatant lies, so I have to contact the service manager. She then tells me that she doesn't know how everyone missed it. That she will rush the parts, a few days go by and I call and ask the status, but I was told the part was on back order. Had I not called I wouldn't of known. I was told a rental would be ready today because they couldn't guarantee the safety of my car by today. Then I arrive to get the rental and they tell me the car is done, but then it wasn't. So they decide to get me a loaner. Then they can't find the loaner so they decide to rush to get my car ready, the same one they say they couldn't guarantee safety of today. Overall, it was just a huge lack of communication altogether. What the reason behind this dishonesty was, I will never know. At the end of it all, the issues were fixed on Chevrolet, as the should of been because the factory warranty covered it all along. The service manager said "at least you didn't pay for it" as if it was a favor and not something that was supposed to be covered that her employee felt the need to lie about for weeks on end. Yes, I'm grateful it is fixed for sure but I would of at least expected Chevrolet to be knowledgeable and honest about their factory warranty coverages. read more

It was the worst experience I ever had at a car dealership. We have to do better as Humans! From start Nii(Knee) was beyond the best sale rep., very helpful and respectful. On another note MIGUEL PEREZ was absolutely disrespectful on many levels starting with repeatedly asking me could I afford to place $6,500 down!!! After he ran my information incorrectly through their system, misspelling my name and presenting the incorrect SSN (which we found out later from Alfonso that the information was incorrect). Miguel displayed a unpleasant and unprofessional demeanor towards me and my partner when we asked questions about purchasing a particular vehicle. We was then passed along to Alfonso who was also pleasant and carried over a more positive interaction with us and did his best to explain the process and rebates. At the end we reach Hamza Aziz (Finance Director) who advised me I had to be all three military, firefighter and first responders to be eligible to receive the rebates. Which wasn't true, you have to be a Superman/Superwoman to master all three at one time! Then I was told to qualify for any rebates I had to be a Gm lease/Non Gm lease holder. I'm a first responder and had all my credentials and authorization number to provide to the dealer along with my own pre approval amount and down payment, only to be asked to return the next morning to be treated with no dignity and respect (when I met with Hamza), who kept telling me he didn't have to show me certain documents that I was inquiring about with my personal information. He then proceeds to tell me that he wasn't willing to sell the car at the offered online price which was a "Lindsay Love It Price"! What I can't understand is, if I come into a dealership and never authorized them to submit a credit application to any other organization except the ONE I provided, which was my official pre-approval letter from. I left the dealership, only to receive notices hours later that Lindsay Chevrolet has been submitting inquiries without my approval/permission. So, how do I end up with multiple unauthorized inquiries from other financial institutions, when I'm not present at the dealership any longer?!!! read more

Both said they would either e-mail or mail the documentation to me. I never received it. I am very disappointed in the customer service I have received. Drove 2 hours to check out a truck. Had called in beforehand about a special they were running. They had a truck listed for a low price and I told them I was coming from a while away so I wanted to know up front if the deal was legit. They told me over the phone that the price listed online was legit and there were no other fees. They also told me that the price was so low because they're listing at the "lowest price possible" where they can't go any lower. Come to find out I drive all the way there the next day and for starters they didn't hold the car I had been wanting to see. They told me the car I came to look for had been sold. This was the start of my horrible experience. Next they showed me another similar car with a price online of 29k (same deal). The employees then told me that the price wasn't 29k, they could do 33. The 29 didn't include certain fees yet I was told over the phone that no other fees were on these cars. These employees are liars and crooks. I purchased a new vehicle with an extra maintenance warrenty. When I took it in for the last oil change I was told the tires needed rotated. They charged me for the tire rotation even though it was included in the warrenty. When I contacted the service manager I was told I would get a refund. Kristina is amazing! That Monday morning of April 4th,2016 I priced my car on the dealership and within 15min. She called me! Super friendly and not pushy to come in and make a deal. She worked with me and I told her exactly what I wanted. I'm in the military and far from home but she made me feel like I was home again. She seriously helped me through every step and was so nice! She never showed frustration or doubt. She knew what I could afford and didn't get my hopes up. She really knows her Chevys and that's what I love. Someone that can tell me something about a car that I have been researching and had a recent modle. She is super military friendly and makes you feel like your the only one in the dealership. There is so much I can say but I will sum this up. If your looking to buy a used or new car goto her! I would buy I next car from her and recommend her to everyone! Came into this dealership today because I was interested in the Traverse. The young sales girl was really nice and very attentive. Now the terrible part. I saw the SUV on line for one price and they tried to sell it to me for $5K more. I told the sales guy that was helping her to NOT run my credit because I already had a pre-approval and wanted to know my numbers BEFORE making any commitment. Then the finance guy comes over and tries to help and once again told them to NOT run my credit. So the finance guy never came back he was "tied up" because unbeknownst to me he had ran my credit! Then the sales guy comes back saying I need to put $1K down and the payment was over $680 a month. NO THANK YOU!!! I declined and walked right out! They can keep it for all I care. I will be going to another place with less shady business practices. read more

Really you start the survey out with do you like country music LOL. Not interested in wasting my time just like I did when I came in there. What a lame service department you have that says they can only fix your tire with some newfangled way that is guaranteed for life that only last a couple of months and then you try and upsell a tire saying you're giving me the money back for the repair in the price. He comes back with a price of $163 with the discount. I got the same tire at Walmart for $87 and pay 2250 to have it installed and balanced. When I didn't buy the tire and said I would get the tire how much would it be to install they said $25. They should've installed it for free because the repair didn't work. I give them a 1 reluctantly. My daughter had her car worked on there for a warranty repair. She was given a loaner the first time. Within 6 hours the car had the same issue. She called them and the gave her the run around. Was not there issue and would not get a loaner or rental car for the next repair. They also charged her $50 because she did not purchase the car there and she was not interested in buying a new car from them. I am very unhappy with this dealership. read more

This by far one of the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I happened to come across a car on Car Fax a few days ago, an amazing deal that I knew would be snatched up in no time so I took the liberty of sending them an email to see if it was still available and to make an appointment. I informed Nii that I'd be unable to make it out till Saturday due to the fact that I work Monday-Friday & that I'd be driving quite a ways away to look at this vehicle ( an hour an a half ), he told me that it was not an issue and if anything was to happen between Thursday and Saturday he'd give me a call. I noticed that the link I had for the vehicle no longer worked and the car was no longer listed on their own website, so I shot him another email making sure that it was still available he ensured me it was and that he had pulled the keys and would let me know if anyone was interested in the vehicle before our appointment. So this afternoon we arrived an hour earlier than expected, went to the front desk telling the receptionist that we had an appointment with Nii only to be informed that he was tied up with another customer & had another gentleman help us. He then went to to grab the keys for the vehicle we drove an hour an a half for, only to inform us the vehicle was sold a few moments before we arrived. Discouraged at this point being that we had clearly been lied to just to get us out there for the sale, we agreed to look at other vehicles being that we drove a long ways, the manager also promising us that he'd give us 20% off for the inconvenience. The manager then comes over to tell us what he can do for us about trading in my current vehicle and the pricing on a new one, he was less than helpful and was not willing to work with my budget. Not only that, but continued to tell us that we couldn't get a deal like this anywhere else & failed to listen to my concerns with payments and such. I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional, and belittling as I have at Lindsey Chevrolet. We had to ask for the keys back to MY vehicle back, and not only did the manager storm off after we said we would not be purchasing a vehicle from them but we had to go get our own keys that they had left on a counter at the front of the building. Wish I'd read previous reviews before shopping at Lindsay. Everything terrible from those reviews and more describes my experience. Bought in May, just got my vehicle back from them for good. As a new car it had a small paint damage that they agreed to fix. Six months!! And unfulfilled promises, tons of my time wasted, calls not returned, unprofessional service dept. Took it in one morning (had an appt), was told they'd fix it that day and call when it was done. No call, so I called them around 5-6pm. Was told it's ready. Went to pick it up and discovered it hadn't been touched! Two wasted trips in one day. They kept it for 3 weeks to finally do the small paint job, and when I picked it up it was "gritty" along the entire side that they worked on. Was told it wasn't "overspray", they somehow fixed it that day, but how can they keep it for 3 weeks and it come back worse than when it went in??? Bottom line.........they are efficient, polite, professional until the moment the sale is complete. Then somehow they become incompetent, unprofessional, dishonest clowns trying to run a business. Car buying is stressful enough...........RUN..........do not walk....to another dealer!! read more

I purchased a used a late model Toyota from this dealer to replace one that was totaled in an accident. The car was fine and all went well during the closing until I was given the manual and keys (that is, as in, one key), a FOB to be precise, since this a keyless entry and push button start car. Since this was the exact model car that was totaled, I knew what keys expect. When asked about the other keys, I was told they didn't have them. One FOB is a bad situation, because if you lose it, you're in trouble. A locksmith can't help. The cost of a replacement FOB is $400.00. When I raised this with the manager (Ariel), his response was "what did I want him to do?" I wanted him to get the full set of keys the car comes with. He stated that he would not do that because it was an "as is" used car, and that I should have checked to see that they had the keys before signing the agreement, in a smug and very arrogant manner. Who checks to see if a dealer has all the keys before you buy? I will never do business with this dealer again. There are plenty of dealers in the area, and I recommend that you NOT USE this dealer. read more
