Some great sea views too. The resturant has good food but lacks atmosphere as its too casual and there doesn't feel as if there is a defined bar area. The service is what makes this place very good everyone works hard and they are very attentive. The team is a huge selling point of this hotel one of the best I've seen. We paid £150 per night for b+b which I feel is a little high but this is good escape for someone looking for a slower pace break.

We've been several times so are quite used to writing down our own order and don't think twice about it now - it makes it more relaxed and informal in my opinion. We didn't have room after two courses for a pudding but I was delighted to receive a 'happy birthday' plate with complimentary dark chocolate brownie complete with lit candle! Yum! For my main I opted for the burger and even though the skinny fries were on point, my burger was just a shrunk bit of dried meat bang in the middle of a good brioche. What can I say? The bread + cheese tasted better than the meat. My companion ham hock was much better than anything else we ate there; his main course was fine, but he had to ask for an extra piece of crackling since the one he originally got was ridiculously tiny - I mean TINY.
