I have been a member of Lindora for over a year now and my life is completely changed! I feel much more in control of understanding what kind of nutrition works for my body. The best thing about Lindora is the accountability. If you come in and follow the program, you will see changes and you will learn discipline! When I first joined I was hesitant to try all their food because I thought it wouldn't taste very good but their high protein foods are so tasty and really helpful when it comes to planning my meals. If your closest clinic is this Downey office I would advise against participating in the program. This clinic is not properly staffed and turn around is ridiculous. You can't get courteous, professional, or reliable staff without them being gone from week to week. This was even before Covid. Only option corporate gave me was to go to other clinics, all other clinics are at least 30-45 min out of my way. I love the program and it would be great if the staff was reliable enough to support and guide my weight loss program. read more

I am truly happy to have decided to join Lindora Medical clinic in Downey. I have completed my first session of the program and have successfully lost a total of 35 pounds. I have to five the credit to the staff there because they have been very good at motivating me and helping me with my weight loss. I highly recommend anyone wanting to loose weight to come here. The Downy Lindora clinic is one of my favorite. Although my weight loss could be better, the staff is eager to help you with your weight loss journey, "if you listen to them" . I have not been 100% dedicated, I have a tough time making time to update my food journal daily and get the easy recommended regular exercise. And even with that this is my second week out, and I have lost 6lbs. I'm doing well with my 80% commitment to the program. All the advice provided by this knowledgable and friendly team, has been fantastic. Excellent customer service as well, and they are open until 6:00pm unlike the other locations that close at 5:00. By far one of the best wellness programs out there. I've been wanting to make a change in my life to better my health but had failed miserably every time. Until I was to referred to Lindora in Downey. The staff are absolutely amazing! Extremely helpful, kind-hearted and so supportive! I recently visited a different Lindora clinic while on vacation and was very disappointed. I was excited to start this program but the one day that I needed my lindora nurse to be there for me and listen. I got an attitude from her. When I told her that I was having an awful day and I was craving Olive Garden she told me " olive garden, olive garden is not a food. I was so shocked but I let it go and responded with.. well I'm craving the Chicken Alfredo from olive garden. That was so rude. I also explained how it's getting tough and I'm not sure what I can eat she just told me, "you have Google look it up." I can't believe that I spent over $600 and I was getting this treatment. Her name is Deana, not sure if I'm spelling it right but thats how it sounds. Lindora suppose to be there for you just like the book said! But out of all the days those things she told me were awful. Deanna cost Lindora a future paying member. I was a sure customer when I went for my first consult, ready to join and pay anything it took as I have become stagnant in trying to lose weight. But really Deanna (unknowingly) talked me out of it. She was nice, but she didn't seem to be very knowledgeable of the science or the structure and purpose of and within the program. She presented ZERO written or documented information about the program... not even a brochure... at our consultation. When I asked about the online program she responded with, "Well, the online program is just online." I wanted to say, "well duh, but can I know more about it?," but I refrained. Once she produced pricing I was still in, but when I asked about payment plans if I was not able not pay all at once, she fumbled around on the computer saying it would not let her do somethings when really if she knew her job it was simple arithmetic that she could have had on a pre-calculated spreadsheet before I even arrived as it seemed to me the prices are the same whether you become a member or not. She also kept mentioning how she had done the program before and she wanted to do the program again and how she was going to do it again. That made me skeptical of the program as she works there so what could it be that's holding her back? Pricing? Time? Does it even work well? The last question is why I chose not to join as her appearance was an answer in itself. Regarding the program, the bones and structure of it sounds like a solid program that could really work for someone like me who needs an extra push, some medical attention, and guidance to get me over the hump I'm in with my weight loss journey. But first impressions are everything, and I did not receive a good first impression at all. Two stars are what this Downey location deserve at the most. read more

I am new to Lindora but so far I am extremely happy with the products and the staff. Front office greet us by name, always smiling and are quick to take us in. Elaine is fire cracker and extremely knowledgeable. The physician assistant took an hour to thoroughly go over my labs and explain other important medical components. Upon visiting the Downey location and meeting with the entire staff of Professionals, I had no concerns about opening up to them about my needs and expectations. In a very inviting and friendly environment, the consultation meshed my expectations with a well defined/outlined treatment plan that was clearly explained and within my budget. I just wanted to say thank you to Lindora Downey and especially to the nurse practitioner, Mechelle. I had an office visit with Mechelle because I needed to rejoin the club. She went over my lab work with me and pointed out some serious concerns with my health exacerbated by my obesity. She was VERY patient and spent time with me showing me what my weight gain patterns were, showing me my past success and sincerely encouraging me that I could do it again. The program actually works if you follow their advise. I love coming here, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The clinic is clean, professional, and so welcoming. The nurses are always happy to see me and keep me motivated even when I don't feel great. Definitely recommend them if you're ready to lose weight. read more
