Happened to be in Marl looking for dinner and this cute local establishment caught our eye…read more We were seated immediately in a dining room filled with locals which we took as a good sign. The menu certainly revolves around steak and other similar items. It was not available in English but our server did her best to translate for us. We ordered steak, lamb and salmon and a carafe of the house Merlot. All were prepared perfectly with generous sides and preceded by a nice salad. Our server was sweet and courteous. We were too full for dessert but were treated to a complimentary peach liquor to finish. We would definitely go there again if in the area. Note they do not accept credit cards, although they do take some sort of debit payment - you should clarify if you are not planning on paying cash.

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Lindenhof. Ein tolles Ambiente, das hält was es verspricht! Rumpsteak ist hier die Empfehlung überhaupt. Das Restourant hat eine gemütliche Größe. Hier begrüßt der Chef seine Gäste noch persönlich. Wir gehen seit Jahren dorthin und warten auch gerne mal ein wenig länger auf das Essen, wenn es besonders voll ist. Ich kann den Lindenhof nur empfehlen und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist so ziehmlich unschlagbar. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich aber es ist für jeden etwas dabei und die Gerichte werden alle frisch zubereitet. read more

Wer etwas Zeit mitbringt wird belohnt: tolles Essen, günstige Preise und Mengen, die kaum zu schaffen sind. Das denkmalgeschützte Restaurant sowie der Kellner (der teilweise gleichzeitig der Koch ist) haben seinen eigenen Charme - uns gefällt es und wir kommen gerne wieder. read more
