Sitah and Dale (the owners) and their staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Their affable mien, as well as their superb culinary skills, made our stay memorable and deeply satisfying. We chose the East Room. It is lovingly decorated, spacious, and well-furnished. The queen size bed, desks, sofa, mini-fridge, and heater that warms up the toilet seat provide just about all of the creature comforts one needs. The room also has a fire stove to delight the pyromaniacs and a huge, deep stone soaker tub that can easily accommodate two sumo wrestlers (or half a dozen jockeys). A couple of things to note: (1) There's no cell phone reception (at least not T-Mobile or Sprint). But there is free WiFi. (2) While the windows and skylights may infuse the room with a bright and cheery feel, they may make it hard for you to sleep in late. So don't forget to pack your sleep mask.

I am so delighted to now say that Sitah and Dale made the most special day of my life a total dream. After searching up and down the California coast for a place to get married that felt "right", I was feeling pretty disheartened and was ready to throw in the towel. But, on a whim, we decided to take a trek to Bonny Doon on our way to another venue location and I happened upon the Redwood Croft for a potential place for out of town guests to stay. And wouldn't you know it, they mentioned they host events on their website! My now husband and I took a day and drove down the coast from San Mateo and stopped in to chat with Sitah about her home. The place was (is!) stunning and from the moment we set foot on the grounds, we knew it was the perfect place to get married. Sitah and Dale charge a reasonable amount for the 2 night rental of their whole B&B, plus having nearly 100 people on-site for a wedding! It was so magical to spend the night there before the wedding, then to wake up and eat Sitah's homemade blueberry pancakes (which she made a batch gluten free for me! So amazing!) and spend the rest of the day primping and relaxing before we said "I do!" on their beautiful back lawn and garden. They made everything go so smoothly and they opened their home to my family for the weekend -- it made the wedding weekend just sublime. Before we had our big day, the hub and I spent an impromptu overnighter at the Croft, just to get a feel for it. Our night was peaceful (we stayed in the East Room) and I can't wait to go back now and spend special weekends and anniversaries there. Thank you, Sitah and Dale, for making our day a true piece of romance. Our memories will be sweet and our life will be grand and you had a hand in making that come true for us!

We loved Sarah who was really attentive and made sure we had a good time. We liked their wines also, Pinot Noir was my friend's favorite and Chardonnay mine. This visit was so nice that we went back with the third friend in August for their Vine & Wine Walk with French Worker's Lunch! We missed the turn at Robert's Road from Love Creek Rd. both times but that was just a little extra scenic drive. The place is beautiful with plenty of parking, lots of shade, and gorgeous views. I highly recommend Robert's Ranch Vineyards for their wines and events.

This completely blew our expectations, it was so much better than what we had imagined! The setting up in the hills of Ben Lomond is mesmerizing. The home is set up perfectly and it's very comfortable and relaxing. Nothing is pretentious in anyway, just friendly and organized in every way. The light lunch that was provided for this event was delicious sandwiches and a gazpacho that was fresh and executed just right. The homemade ice cream with the cacao bits, completed the meal and you left full! The canning workshop was fun and extremely educational! We learned so much. Hands down a wonderful little experience! The wines are ALL good, the Pinot is exceptional but the rose and Sauvignon Blanc was a real surprise! We ended up buying a case! Trust me, you'll want to buy something! Cannot wait to come back!

Their olive bread is exactly what I want - very olivey : ) They slice the bread for you too which is so helpful (tell them if you don't want it sliced). The vibe is very neighborly and the ambiance is more upscale than what we typically see in our little town. Friendly service; it seems like they are having fun in their jobs which always creates an elevated mood for patrons. Refreshing compared to the "I couldn't possibly care less about you, I'd rather be surfing" attitude you get from so many eateries in Santa Cruz County. Huge side patio if you want to enjoy our beautiful weather in the redwoods. I just love how they turned this location into something creative, different, and wonderful. I like that there's also a wine/beer bar for the evening. Thanks for putting in a wheelchair ramp! Long overdue!

I had to rip it and then couldn't really chew it either. All the pastries looked too over baked and I figured it was just what happened that day. This time was the same but I ordered a Kouign Aman because it's a favorite and I thought I'd just rip it apart if necessary. I was asked if I wanted it reheated, yes please, but the result? All the sweet buttery goodness ended up on the bottom and hardened. I flipped it over, gently peeled back the paper and broke it up cause I paid $7.00 for it and I was not giving up(and $6.00 for the latte). It took work and strong teeth but the mission was accomplished. They have a wide selection of other types of food so I may return and give it another go with a non pastry item. The latte was great and the ambience is nice. I am still scratching my head about the dark, crunchy and almost burnt treatment these pastries receive. What am I missing?

In the weeks leading up to the event, Anil was super helpful with everything in terms of planning down to the smallest details. I could tell he wanted to make sure that this was the most special of evenings for my partner and I, and in the end I can't have imagined hosting my wedding party anywhere else. Surrounded by gorgeous art on the walls and romantic fairy lights, we were served dinner and drinks while music played at the perfect volume in the background. I honestly felt like such a princess; every time I would try to adjust something to my liking it was quickly picked up for me and the hosts made sure to check in with me frequently that everything was going smoothly and on schedule. Even though I was very scattered and forgetful, Anil kept up really well and even walked across the street to buy us all champagne for the toasts that I had forgotten to bring beforehand. We had our first dance on the little stage by the door as per Anil's suggestion, and it was so intimate and lovely. It made for the greatest photos, too. Although I have yet to attend a music or art show at Lille Aeske, I feel like I truly got to experience the space at it's finest and feel blessed to have been hosted by Anil in his beautiful "little box" for my special day. Thank you so much for being a part of what turned out to be one of the best days of my life! I would highly recommend checking out Lille Aeske, for their own events or to host one of your own.
