The event I attended was the March Mocktail Mixer which we created mocktails inspired by iconic books. The co host @sushalamour who was the mixologist during the event picked great mocktails to curate such as the mockingjay mule which was based on the Hunger Games. The event was put together well and it was a fun afternoon activity. I definitely recommend checking out their events if you are looking for something to do in the Rahway area. It looks like they have events monthly.

From cookbooks to sci fi, from fantasy to biographies, from adult romances to children's picture books! You could find books from the 1600s all the way until the 21st century. The Book Trader is exactly what its name says: it trades books. You can bring books, which they will give you store credit for and then you can buy books for cheaper than they would cost in a regular store. This was such a great idea, in my opinion. I traded in 2 books and bought one. Now, aside from being separated vaguely by genre and authors' works being mostly together, there is no other sorting system to this store. Books, as you can see in my pictures, are all over the place and it is very hard to walk around parts of the store. If you want a specific book...good luck! Also, make sure you have cash on you. The store only takes cash and checks.

We were here for our UK visa and it was an early morning slot. We reached around 730 AM, it was a…read morelong queue. The gate opened around 810 AM, and the queue disappeared in a flash. Everyone was inside and after initial security, we all were at our designated counter. Ladies who check, what kind of appointment you have and point in that direction might seem rude, but they are not. Anyway, that was my POV. We gave biometrics and were out by 830, which means within 25 minutes we were done with the appointment. Parking: we found the street-side parking, it was $1/hr and can be booked through the app ParkMobile. But if you are coming at a different time, try the Elizabeth station parking spot at 233 Commerce Pl, Elizabeth, NJ 07201. They are also cheap $2/hr.
