When we got there they told us we will be seen soon, that was not true. We waited 50 minutes to be seen! I got a gel x fill and the man who did my nails rushed it SO much, he didn't even completely file off my old gel polish! I can still see bits of my old polish on the sides of my nails!! He did not really shape my nails, shorten them like I asked, he did not do my cuticles at all, and did not use a base coat. I also had a bunch of nail dust that he painted the gel polish over. The actual pink catseye polish is nice, but again, my old polish is still visible on the sides!! My sister got black gel with a pink cat eye on top and both hands are different! On one hand the cat eye is on the WHOLE nail and on the other hand the cat eye is only partly on the diagonal! It's not even at all The lady nail techs were very kind and sweet, but the guy who worked there did not even apologize for the wait. I understand if they are running behind but they could have called us or told us to come back instead of telling us they will see us shortly and have us wait there for 50 minutes! No apology no discount nothing was offered. In total 3 manicures cost us $195, and I don't think it was worth it due to the wait time and extremely rushed service.

The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. The prices are higher than a quick pedi in the Bay Area but there is less competition up here so that's the way it goes. And for a "spa pedi" at a neighborhood salon, the prices are about the same. Just no $20 mani/pedi deals here :-) It was $45 for the sea salt pedicure and $35 for the regular spa pedicure. They also offer acrylic nails and waxing. 4 different women were there for waxing appointments while I was there so it seems to be a popular service there. It is located in the Albertson's strip mall by Porter's so you might not notice or dismiss it. I made an appoinment and glad I did. The place filled up fast and they had 5 people working. And they accept Visa/MC - a lot of small nail salons only do cash/check so it was nice to pay with my debit card versus tracking one down for cash before I got there! Would definitey go back.

My teen has been doing vivid colors for 3+ years now and Ren has done a great job with color AND care of my teen's hair. I see Kim who is fantastic with color, blonde, and modern cuts. I've been growing out my gray (or silver as she calls it) and she's helped me do it in a way I love. Kim has done my hair platinum, blonde, caramel, ash, brown, black, peek-a-boo vivid, block vivid, and more. It's never over processed and stays very healthy. I've seen Alicia do excellent hair cuts on teenage boys to men well past just salt and pepper. She's always friendly and kind to everyone in her chair. Stylist/owner Kim Ochoa took me under her wing so that I left feeling and looking 100% better! Before I went to Neve, I had damaged my hair over the past three years with several home bleach attempts, and awful DIY cuts. I felt so ashamed of my hair that I didn't want to go to a salon in Santa Cruz, my hometown, but I finally decided to give Neve a try during our annual family trip to Tahoe. Kim treated me with total compassion, and she took the time to discuss my future hair goals so that I felt empowered to take better care of my hair. I love having long hair, but my ends were so damaged that I wanted to start fresh and Kim cut them off, fixing my jagged layers into a short cut I'm happy with until it grows back to my regular shoulder length! I'm thrilled I found this salon, and I'm beyond grateful the prices are affordable, too! I had such a great appointment that I will wait until I can visit Tahoe again just so I can have Kim do more magic on my hair!
