I looked at the card "statement" and saw where they tried to post the full amount of the bill. I told the lady I could give her the card number again if she would only run it for $50. I asked her after it went through could she please look at getting the late fee removed as I had sent it in on time and didn't even have insurance to help. She didn't act like she wanted to remove the charge because I had only made a partial payment, but then asked me to hold. He remained calm, professional, and unflustered throughout our transaction, ensuring I had what I need, and offering me the military discount after I used a USAA credit card for the piece.
