Delicious food. Easy going and chill service and the ambience is ok. Just a good place to grab a quick bite to eat!

Gross strips of pork fat instead of any actual pork.

Go elsewhere! We order fried rice from many Chinese and Thai restaurants and this had to be the worst we've ever had. We ordered one pork and one veggie fried rice. The pork had pieces of pork fat throughout (disgusting) and the peas, carrots and onions were hard, and uncooked. Horrible experience. We'd never order from here again. We hope we don't get food poisoning, or some other food-borne illness.

Came on a Sunday around 1pm. There were 3 cashiers and that's the most I've ever seen at a sit down Chinese restaurant. There's a decent amount of seating area for dine in and seats for people to sit on while they wait for their takeouts. The girl that helped me was very nice. We've ordered 5 boba drinks with our lunch, we got our food about 20 minutes faster than our drinks. The drinks were good and well made, just took a while. All the fried rice we had, was meh, not really any flavor, it's almost like eating plain white rice that looked yellow. The beef and broccoli was also pretty plain, but the beef was tender and broccoli not over cooked. The hot and sour soup had a good amount of tofu and bamboos. The orange chicken was too doughy but smelled and tasted good. REMEMBER, If you are dining in, they do not have tap water. Their drink machine only have soda and if you want water, you'll have to buy a bottle.

Clean, no long waits, and good food. Each time I go I am not disappointed and the staff, though younger, are still very kind and patient.

It's been over 10 years ago which tells you a restaurant surviving this close to Disney that isn't a chain restaurant they have to be good. And they are. Because of recent food allergies I have to be careful where I eat. I wasn't concerned here. They listened attentively and took all of our dietary needs to Hart. They were very very specific who got white and who could eat what when they came to the table to serve serve. It's not some big fancy theme park type restaurant inside but it's nice and clean. I'm still laughing my friends had no idea I had been here and had even told them about it. Oh well, they bought me dinner so I shouldn't complain. The service is excellent, of course they listen to you when you order which is important, the food was hot, fresh, visually appealing as well as smelled incredible. When we were done they were quick to clear away and box up anything that we asked. I don't like too much hovering over a table but I also don't like to have to go hunt down my weight staff. Just the right amount without being annoying or unresponsive. I will definitely come back here again and remind my friends I have been here. Lol

The place hasn't changed... the food is still excellent, the place is still a bit quirky, but lovable. I had the spring rolls, which have always been delectable, and after that the pad thai which was also quite good. About the only thing that I would complain about is the constant in-and-out of delivery drivers, but I get it... the place has to survive, and by the traffic I was seeing easily half of their sales are going out via delivery, so if that is the price we as in-house diners have to pay in order to keep the place up and running, so be it.

From the service, to the cleanliness and of course the food: flavors, portions, everything hits the right spot. The place is quite brightly lit with a lot of tropical houseplants as part of the decor. There are three sections to the restaurant: A cafeteria, an indoor dining area and an outdoor dining area. The indoor dining area entirely consists of private booths whereas the outdoor section has tables and chairs. The service is warm, friendly, quick and most importantly efficient. The portions served are big. This was our third visit to Maracas in the past 4 months and they have been very consistent with their service, food quality as well as quantity. As far as the food is concerned, it will remind one of a hispanic home. The flavors are perfectly balanced, the meats are cooked tender, the beans are rich yet delicious, the rice is buttery, the yucas perfectly seasoned with mojo and the tostones are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside: just like you'd expect your Noche Buena meal to taste like at your abuela's dinner table. On this last visit, we had our usual tostones for appetizers, for the entrées we had the pernil (roast pork) with a side of rice, beans and maduros (yes, they offer three sides with all entrées), we also had the rabo (oxtail curry) with rice, beans and yuca con mojo. Everything was delicious and as always we couldn't finish our meal because of the large portions they serve and had to request take away containers. If you're looking for finger-licking good Dominican food (also for the Cubans looking for food similar to theirs), look no further. Maracas is the place to go. There's a reason we keep returning to this place.

When I found out they'd been serving dim sum during traditional times for it (Sundays from 11am-3pm), I just had to try it. I ordered the perfectly chewy shrimp rice roll (add the chili crisp to it and it's even tastier, giving it some heat) and the fluffy, steamed BBQ pork buns with a side salad just to get some veggies in, all of it utterly delicious. Had I come with a much bigger appetite, I would've definitely tried more (the nice couple sitting near me mentioned the pork belly was divine). Next time, I certainly will! Highly recommended!

You order at a kiosk when you enter, the process is quick and easy, and once seated they promptly bring everything you need -- chopsticks, utensils, and all the ramen essentials. The food comes out fast and is delivered right to your table. I ordered the Golden Ginger signature ramen and it was outstanding. The broth was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and the housemade, hand-pulled noodles were perfectly cooked and delicious. We also tried the Hokkaido cream waffles. They're less like a traditional waffle and more reminiscent of a Twinkie-style cream cake, but since we'd had Hokkaido cream desserts in Osaka before, it felt authentic and nostalgic -- and absolutely tasty. I'd order them again without hesitation. My husband had the dango sweet rice cake, which was very good, but next time I'd still choose the waffles for dessert. They also offer a nice variety of drinks and teas to round out the meal. I love the super fruit green tea. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the service is excellent, and the whole experience feels thoughtfully run. We'll happily be back.

I also tried the classic milk tea and thought it was not bad. They use powder tea so it's different than real brewed tea though. Orlando doesn't really do boba so I understand. The waffles tasted more like a cake with cream but it was fine and still tasted good!

Told the OWNER (bc that's who served us) & she said it wasn't a bug, it was the seeds from passion fruit. Told her it was definitely a bug. She saw it & switched it out. Husband was in the restroom & as soon as he came out, she came to the table and asked for our order. She told us that she only takes full orders (appetizers & entrees) at the same time so customers don't dirty their menus. I Ordered nachos but we never received any napkins. She was busy talking to maybe her daughter (another employee) behind the desk & when she finally stopped, I asked if we can get napkins. When the other employee brought out the food, I noticed that my chimichanga had a dog hair on it. I know what dog hair looks like. Obviously I tried getting her attention again. She comes up & says that's not hair, ITS FROM LETTUCE ooookay. She then said, are you going to want something else, because you shouldn't order anything". I said "excuse me"? At this point I did not want anything else. She then started yelling at us, saying that ever since we came in we were rude. Which we weren't, even explained to the other worker there who understood & was telling the owner to calm down. Politely asked the other lady for our check because my appetite was ruined & owners attitude was uncalled for. She kept saying that we kept complained and I was like, who wouldn't complain about a bug and hair in their food???? Idc whether we live in FL or not. I didn't go to a swamp. She then told us to get out or she would call the police (also told the other lady to take her grandchild to the back bc she doesn't want to see how WE were acting). I told her she should call the police. She then said that she would call the police because we didn't want to pay (my husband was already taking out his wallet/we already had the check so WHAT???) told her to take our money so we can gtfo. We asked for a box for my husbands food & she started yelling saying we didn't want the food.. again, WHAT! We have been here plenty of times - NEVER AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS, food has always been good. That "owner" is a piece of work. NEVER in our lives have we EVER had an argument with a restaurant, nonetheless the owner. Very seldom do I get out of character but that lady took it there. Who treats their customers like that???? Looking at all other reviews, this place needs to be shut down & opened by a much friendlier owner.
