My girlfriend and I have taken our vehicles to Lim's Autobody on three different occasions. When I purchased my vehicle, there was damage on the front driver's side fender. I brought it to Lim's and he repaired and painted it to look like new. My girlfriend's teenage daughter is just learning how to drive and has already hit a pole and damaged the front bumper two months ago. Just last week, she backed into a dumpster and damaged the rear bumper. Lim's did great work on of the repairs. Lim is honest, does excellent work and is able to get your vehicle back to you quickly. Lim is an artist. He did an amazing job on my car! It is like owning a brand new car again! The body work was spectacular and so was the paint job. May, 2019 WOW... did I find the BEST Auto Shop in Tampa Bay... YOU BET I DID! My 2011 Camry was hit on the right rear side by a pick-up truck whose driver wasn't paying attention. After filing out the accident report I was in need of finding an auto body shop. I was told that Lim's Auto Body Shop on 12201 66th Street in Largo was reliable and does great work. I made an appointment, got their estimate of the damage, and brought the car in that Friday morning. I was due to return to New Jersey in two weeks and I thought I'd have to wait weeks to get the repairs done. Lim told me I could have the car back by Monday! Lim and his team were friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and sincere about doing the very best for my car. AND THEY PROVED IT! The price I was quoted was the price I paid without any additional cost! They gladly set me up with a local car rental and drove me to it and helped me return the rental car on time. As promised, the car was ready on Monday! Where to start with this. I mean WOW. I used him about 6 times because he was the only body shop that I knew personally, and I knew him from a business networking group. BUT SERIOUSLY, STAY AWAY. Almost EVERY SINGLE TIME there was a problem. Here was problem number 1. (and some of these may not be in order) We paid him $2500 to put a new roof on my wife's convertible. It leaked. BADLY. He did of course fix that, but why can't he do anything correct the first time? Problem number 2. When we got the car back from him, it was missing a piece of plastic. He never put that piece back on for us. Problem 3. Our car was rear ended. he told us the car would be ready on Wednesday. It was not. When he FINALLY told me to pick the car up, HE FORGOT TO FIX THE TRUNK. There was a GIANT dent in it. That was the main thing that got destroyed in the car accident. Today was the last straw. I had my 1946 car towed to him to get the breaks done almost 4 weeks ago. Since it got towed there, he completely ignored EVERY SINGLE CALL I made to him. He did respond through text. Every text telling me he would have an answer in 2 days. (He told me this 3 times) Today, he told me it's because he is "backed up" then he changed his answer to "this is a tough job to get a quote on" (But he already told me that he was too backed up to get to it, so which one is real?) If he was backed up, why didn't he tell me that 3 weeks ago? When I told him I was going to give him an Honest review, HE THREATENED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He told me he was going to bash my business (which he never used) in return for giving an honest review on his. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LYING man that messes up ALLLLLL the time. Oh, he also told me he was going to charge me rent for the 3.5 weeks my car was at his shop while I was waiting for him to give me a quote. read more
