Overall my interactions with Lime Maids has been disappointing and I would not recommend them. I found them online and scheduled a "move in"'cleaning prior to moving into a single-family home. I had trouble reaching someone to confirm the cleaning date, but eventually was able to reach someone after calling several times and leaving phone messages. Samantha was great on the phone and apologized for their lack of response, and confirmed the cleaning date. Other than some cobwebs removed in the basement, I would not have known they had been there. For example, after the cleaning the linoleum floor in the kitchen was still filthy and window sills were dirty. I have tried calling several times to discuss the quality of service and sent an email to the general "info"'account. That was over two weeks ago and I am still waiting to be contacted. read more

Carson was phenomenal! I'm not sure I've ever said this before, but she actually did a better job than I would have cleaning my windows and frames. They sparkle! And she used cloths and brushes -- no papertowel waste. read more

Turns out this is my last update. I did give the company another chance after my "last" review. I had a cleaner come one time. It was fine, no issues. But company was not able to schedule ANY subsequent cleanings due to severe understaffing. So no, I definitely do not recommend this business, and I will not call again. read more

I paid Lime Maids $200 dollars last year to do a cleaning for my friends (it was a gift). They never reached out to my friend. I called, emailed and texted them multiple times. On the only occasion that I got a response (text), which was already months after I'd bought it) they seemed lovely, were very apologetic, checked all the contact info and promised to call my friends that day. They didn't call her and have never responded to my efforts to contact them since. I waited a long time to write this review, because I was hoping that they would respond and we could resolve it. I also don't think I've ever written a bad review before. However, in this case I would have given them 0 stars if I could have because the whole thing has been stressful and frustrating, and I'm not sure how much worse you can do as a business than simple taking someones money and not doing anything in return. I do not recommend them! read more

I'm super impressed. My house looked better in one session than I have ever thought it could. I had hired an in-home house cleaner to come pretty regularly, twice a month, who I was perfectly satisfied with. But after a series of cancellations by her, and then sickness, I was desperate to get someone into my home to clean it before I was hosting some musical exchange students from out of town. The place was so sparkling clean, including my chronic-disaster bedroom, I was floored. It's a pricier service than my previous one, but I can tell why, they really do a great job. I would highly recommend you give them a try. read more

I recently applied to work for this company as a housekeeper, when doing the application the last thing left to do was to schedule an interview time. There was a link to do so, once I clicked on the link it brought me to her online calendar and showed the available openings I did it for the next day (Friday February 3rd) at 2pm eastern time, I was their early I sat in the bakery for over an hour, no one showed up to interview me. I called their office multiple times no answer so I left a nice calm collected voicemail asking if someone could give me a call back that I was sitting at the bakery for over an hour waiting for Samantha Jacob's the owner of the company to show up to interview me. It's now been over a week and still no call back nor email back. The owner of the bakery I was left sitting at even e-mailed them asking what was going on and he never got an answer back either. Very disappointing and upsetting that I didn't even get a call back with an explanation or reason as to why I didn't even get a call if that time didn't work for them. Was hoping at least that. I'm not posting this to get people to steer away from working for them I'm just trying to make it aware to Samantha Jacobs that what happened to me is not only not professional but also makes her company look extremely horrible. On another note the owner of that bakery was amazing super sweet man with a great personality! read more

The cleaning was horrible. Only a few stops were clean throughout the house that too, only on what you can see quickly while passing by. No deep cleaning at all that includes inside the kitchen cabinets, windows, basement. Spider webs were all over the place, and insects were still inside the kitchen cabinet. I took a gable even after many people left a negative review for this service. I should have listened to them, but it is my fault. Please do not go with this service. I regret my decision, and I hope the owners are reading this review. read more

Overall, I do not recommend to anyone. Just moved to a new place that has never been deep cleaned, ever! I asked Lime Maids to come and deep clean everything for $300+ and it was only deep cleaned in a few minor ways, but the whole place still needed hours more work. I walked in and could barely tell what they did. I was very specific in prioritizing certain things that needed a good deep clean, via the internet when ordering and I also left a note behind, they seemed to be ignored. I have spent the last few weekends cleaning myself and wishing I had not spent so much money on a bad cleaning job. read more

I hired this "cleaning service" for a deep clean and I got more than I bargained for lol. They were in my apartment for approximately an hour, and in that time took god knows how much stuff from me, including an iPhone in my desk, my cannabis grinder, and other paraphernalia even though it's legal in my state and I'm of age. These people are absolute crooks and cannot be let into your homes. read more

I found Lime Maids on Yelp and was encouraged by the reviews. I hired them to clean my uncle's empty house to get ready for sale. I was told that one person would come clean for a maximum of 5.5 hours. Unfortunately, the job that was completed was so poorly done I had to go back in and re-do/clean the hardwood floors (streaks and footprints everywhere, one room not cleaned at all), re-vacuum part of the carpet, clean the toilet in one bathroom (it was filthy), wipe down doors, outside of cabinets, door frames, and sweep out the garage. I did all this is 2 hours...so my question is, what did the person clean over 5 hours!? After I emailed Lime Maids that day I received a call from the cleaner that she would come and "touch up" the floor...seriously?? Touching up wouldn't begin to solve the problems. I reached out again to Lime Maids asking for a call or email from someone for an explanation and some compensation. I received no response. I'm very disappointed and was looking forward to recommending them as I know so many folks in the Essex/Williston area looking for good cleaners. I won't use Lime Maids again, nor will I be able to recommend them. After I posted this I did receive a call from Lime Maids where I was heard and offered appropriate compensation. I am more open to giving them a second try at some point and look forward to posting a more favorable rating in the future. read more
